“Think they’re the real deal?” Amy questions.

“I think we should break into Rittenhouse headquarters and steal the mothership. We could get our father’s back.”
Coffee:

Greedy digits reach forward pulling the cup towards her the minute he offers her a sip. The word ‘caffeinated’ soars to the top of her favorite new vocabulary list. Although, she isn’t quite sure what it meant. Hot, on the other hand, she totally understood thanks to a couple of minor burns. By association, she figures the other one must be equally as bad. “What means caff....E.....Nat...Ed?”
Her head cocks to the side in confusion at his remark about having to scrape her off the walls. The difference between a sip and a gulp could be extremely different depending on who the word was coming from, among other things. Justice allows the still rather warm liquid to fill her cheeks.
It is bitter. Tasting as if it were, comprised of the hollow wooden earth with a pinch of lemon. It is Justice’s guess. She wasn’t entirely certain what coffee is made out of. To her credit, she knows is that daddy and mommy liked to drink it. And she was heavily inclined to like whatever her daddy liked. And by extension, she felt the same about Cam no matter what it was.
Begrudgingly, she clutches the cup. Taking far more than one sip in a selective effort to determine whether or not she enjoyed the taste. Her eyes pop wide open when the caffeine finally reaches its warm tendrils into her veins. The buzz of energy begins to practically pulsate inside of her. “I want more...” She gigglingly bursts. Did she need more? Most likely not. But boy did she have a hankering. “Please!”
“Uncle Cam? Does coffee make you write or think better?” She ponders curiously, bouncing in her seat across from him.

“You might know about you, but I don’t know about you,” Sophie countered, offering up a grin. “The eyes I got from my mama, she had big ol’ eyes just like mine. Probably the only thing we got in common,” that was more revealing than she’d liked it to be, but what harm could it do?
“What I like? I like to dance. I came real close to becoming a ballerina, but the ship sailed,” she was still a bit bitter about that but she was dealing with it. “I made some dumb choices. Pro-tip, if you have a promising career ahead of you, don’t run away with someone just to make your mom pissed.”
Taking a sip of her drink, she glanced back up at him, “Alright, I reveal stuff, your turn again.”

Laying herself flat across Cam’s chest, she lets her fingers absentmindedly draw a map across his skin. Where it leads no one knows for sure. “Cam? If you could run away from it all, where would you go?” Yes. It is semi-ironic- the pilot turning the questions on the reporter? Dameron didn’t much care though.

Her brow arches incredulously at his reply. For a moment, she considers his words. She leans against the metallic boxes meant to keep their possessions secure. “That depends. Who would be setting bombs in my locker?”
Then with a huff of a laugh, she states, “that leaves me with one other option.” She gives a brief pause. “But why would you go to such lengths to put something into my locker? Dameron sheepishly questions.
Cam X Poe: Vice Proposal

Scrutinizing hues of burnt sienna study him with an incredible air of skepticism. Maybe she was joking? Perhaps, she was serious? A most desperate part of her doesn’t even know for certain. Whatever it was, it was spawned from the fear still bristling down her spine from the war-zone she had barely escaped from by the skin of her teeth. That didn’t make this moment any less genuine. She could never foresee when her streak of luck would run out. The very last thing she wants is to lose him forever. In any case, she is completely panicking. His attempt to find humor in it, isn’t making this any easier.
A shaky breath rattles passed her lips as he confirms what she had long suspected. That he ardently felt for her what she had for him. “I… I…” she sputters nervously. “Yes. Uhmm….” Poe swallows sharply. “Just… hear me out.”
Dameron removes the necklace she has worn religiously since she was four from around her neck, sliding Kes’s ring off the chain. The warmth of her skin’s caress remains practically etched inside the band. “I know at times I have teased you and I have sometimes been unable to commit to things that are more serious in nature…” Poe prefaces this statement. “But I… have never been more sincere about anything in my life.” To prove her point, her trembling fingers extend one of her most prized possessions towards Cam. “I realized that I have never needed or wanted anyone to remain a part of my life as much as I do you. I don’t want to lose another day. We aren’t promised tomorrow or the days after. If we both know where our futures lay, why delay the inevitable?” She offers in the form of an inquiry. It has become glaringly obvious to Poe that she could die before either one of them had a chance to express their heartfelt sentiments, namely her.
“It doesn’t really matter who proposes so long as it comes from a place of love. Does it?” She questions nervously. Dameron wanted to do it first. Especially, since she was in the middle professing the depths of her love.
Then getting down onto one knee she asks, “will you… Cameron Creek, spend the rest of your life with me Poe Dameron? Will you do me the favor of accepting my late father’s ring and my hand in marriage?” There were tears welling up in her eyes if they were borne of joy, fear, of anxiety she could not say. Nor did she care enough to focus upon them when her undivided attention was placed on Cam.
The unique ring had been selected by Shara many years ago after her engagement to Kes. Inscribed on the inside of the band are the words, ‘to infinity and beyond.’ Her collarbone practically feels naked without the heirloom but she had been saving it for such a time as this. Her breath remains baited as she awaits his response.
