How I feel about this character MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE. I love her sense of humour, her desire to learn, her determination, how practical she is. I love her empathy and her loyalty and her selflessness, and far from making her weak, I think those things make it even more empowering when she pulls herself free of her ex, of Josh, because we know that by and large Donna is not a person who's out for herself. I love that her compassion is always, always central to her character, that she grows and matures and comes to understand exactly how to be a political player but won't ever let innocent people get hurt for political gain. Not to mention she's the only character who actually benefits from Sorkin leaving.

My non-romantic OTP for this character I have so many Donna/Toby feelings you don't even know.
My unpopular opinion about this character I'm pretty sure I don't have one, though I don't know that that many people overall would say she's their favourite.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. Oh god, I wish they hadn't forgotten that they blew her up about six episodes after it happened. I wanted to watch her deal with it properly, I wanted it to be more than a dramatic season finale/an opportunity for Josh to angst. I love the Gaza arc but I just really, really wish it had been about Donna.
