HEY GUYS IT’S BASIL AGAIN... DESTITUTE AGAIN. For Pride month, June has been suuuper homophobic @ me. So since the last time I asked for money, I have made my way back up to my home state, where I was able to get a nice paying job( 15USD an hour! Woah!), and was able to get away from my family in record time thanks to that position! I have an apartment, a cat, a car... And then tragedy struck. I lost my job.
I was unemployed for a week, in which all of my bills were due, and this left me in financial shambles. I haven’t had a week spent out of a negative account balance since May 25th. I do have a new job now, but it’s not fixing my financial situation fast enough (at only 12USD/hr) , and now run the very real risk of losing everything I’ve built up for myself. I need money in my account fast.
If I don’t pay my car payment and rent by the end of June, I will lose my home and transportation
To get out of this financial pit with *all* of my bills, I will need 1,600. Thanks to my job, I can cover some of those costs, and I can keep a little extra money in my wallet if I skip on my internet bill for the month (I’ll live). All I ask for is 1,000 dollars to dig me out of this financial hellhole, so I can keep my home, car, and job.
Q: But Basil, can’t you go back to your family? A: No, they will not take me back. My mother is in a financially desperate situation as well, and even if she wasn’t, her current roommate has made threats to my life on the account that I am neither straight or white. My father’s girlfriend has done the same to me, due to her poor mental health. All of my extended family is estranged to me and wouldn’t even assist me when I was being physically abused as a child, so I cannot count on them. Q: Have you tried selling your things / taking out a loan / not buying that damn avocado toast? A: I don’t own any things that aren’t necessities right now, or aren’t things that were gifts from family. I’m unable to take out a loan due to how bad my bank account is. I haven’t had the money to even get an avocado toast and I’m very sad about this 8′( (I’ve been power saving but it’s still not enough). Q: Why GOFUNDME? A: I don’t know any other options, and I’ve already had a gofundme set up because of my previous desperate call for money, in which I needed to get out of New Mexico and return home to Wisconsin.
Q: What’s your cat’s name? A: Cecelia! I just got her from an abusive home and she really loves the peace and quiet where we live!!
