In previous posts, I have mentioned that I am in a current social media kick. Scrolling through social media platforms has me wondering how I can be unique and “play” the system. My question today is how can I grow my business on social media? I had a few assumptions like creating a page, posting, and some tricks I learned from the previous articles I posted about. I decided to do some research so I can be smart about social media and use to towards a personal/business gain. I found an article called “how to promote your business with instagram”, and the article shares some excellent ideas.
After reading the article, I have learned some great ideas as well as refreshed my memory on some tips that I’ve known from the past. The article shares that using hashtags will actually boost your post by associating itself with topics users have searched for in the past. The article also shares that building trust and really connecting with every follower is a great way to build and promote your business. If you gain your followers trust, provide useful content, and have them reply to the posts, there will be a greater chance they will do some word of mouth marketing. This means that your followers might share posts with friends or family. The last tip the article shared about promoting your business is posting regularly with hashtags. Posting regularly will help ensure your followers see your posts, and will help abuse the instagram server’s algorithm. Posting regularly will also help show your followers that you are passionate, motivated, and active in your business.
