This poll was pretty clear! The majority of invested participants wanted to have the option to use a favorite past prompt as one of their fills! As such, you will find the prompt 'Any Past Prompt of Your Choice' in Slot #30 in the official Sicktember 2024 prompt list.
We know the question has arisen, 'But mods! What if I've already written all the past prompts!' and 'But I already wrote my most favorite prompt during the 20XX event!' And our suggestions are as follows:
Find your favorite past sicktember prompt and look for a new way to interpret it, twist it, or turn it.
Write your favorite past sicktember prompt fic using different characters or in a different setting. Or a whole new fandom!
Rewrite your favorite past sicktember prompt fic from another POV (a different character or an outsider)
Write a sequel to your favorite past sicktember prompt fic!
Work with a friend to 'remix' one of their past sicktember prompt fics. (A remix is a fanwork that is a re-envisioned version of an earlier fanwork - fanlore.org)
