Let Love In - Chapter 1
Preamble, because you don't know me.
Yeah. So. 20 years ago I got a degree in creative writing and basically did nothing with it. Fun fact - the guy who wrote John Winchester's journal was my capstone advisor. Which is... so wild considering I had zero interest in Supernatural until late 2025. Man, if only I'd known then what I know now. Actually, it's probably for the best.
It's been a long time since I've done any creative-fiction writing - just years and years of academic research. Not that academia isn't both a hoot AND a holler, but creative writing is a muscle...
I also can't stop thinking about destiel - so, here's a messy little experiment.
I have several more in drafts - but I figured I'd ease into it because it's Pride and I wanted The Boys To Kiss.

Fandom: Supernatural (TV 2005) Rating: Mature Warnings: Major Character Death Relationships: Castiel/Dean Winchester, Dean Winchester & Sam Winchester Characters: Dean Winchester, Sam Winchester, Castiel (Supernatural), Jack Kline Additional Tags: Fix-It, Episode: s13e06 Tombstone (Supernatural), Season 13 Castiel and Dean Winchester Reunion, Castiel/Dean Winchester First Kiss, Dean Winchester is Not Heterosexual Summary: Cas is looking at Dean with an impossible to read expression. It’s soft and hungry at the same time. Relieved? Surprised? There’s something of the old, implacable warrior Cas in there too. The way he was on the first night Dean laid eyes on him. And this, in a way, is like that. Cas is still full of power - a power Dean can’t fathom. The only difference tonight is that Dean didn’t stab him in the heart. He open-mouthed kissed him - and maybe that’s more shocking. // Or: What if Dean had kissed Cas the first time he came back from the Empty? A Supernatural Season 13/14/15 fix-it. I know, baby. Enjoy the cake.
