Final Fantasy XV still continues to surprise me with the incredible level of detail. When Prompto takes a selfie during a Big Jump in the Regalia Type-D the camera flashes! I must have photographed this animation a hundred times and I've never seen it flash before.

If you venture into the archives you'll find that Prompto has a choice of two different cameras that he can use. His default camera is the Lokton LX-30 but he also has a sleek black model, the Lokton LX-X1R. The archive says it' takes's a camera exclusively for photo fanatics. It takes crisp pictures with a slightly bluish tint. The both cameras appear to be identical apart from the colour and placement of the Lokton logo but the black LX-X1R's lens does not reflect the scene like the LX-30 does. Lokton LX-30.  Prompto’s camera of choice.  It would seem odd to do a photography blog and not mention Prompto’s camera.  He leaves it on the table in one of the motel cut scenes so you can get a really good look at it with Ansel.

It’s a mirrorless camera with screen and rear view lens reminiscent of a Fujifilm X-T1 camera which came out in 2014 and cost $1899 for body and lens kit. They put a hell of a lot of detail into such a small thing that you only see fleetingly.  I’m glad they did though, it’s a neat little camera for a budding photographer.
