‘ love isn’t a triangle , it’s a five dimensional blob . ’
Donna was sitting by the pool, where they had finally started lighting some fires for the guests. She was wrapped in a towel, looking at Ryan, who was also wrapped in a towel. At least, he was finally talking to her. All through the morning, ever since they were first bumped shoulders in the elevator, Donna had been trying to get some words out of his mouth.
She wasn’t above it, but she definitely had a crush on him. Was it irrational that she met him less than five hours ago, and knocked him into a pool twice? Probably. But she wouldn’t be a scientist, if there wasn’t a shred of irrationality in her. Whatever works, right?
They were talking about things, Donna was leaning closer to the fire to warm herself, and then he was talking. He seemed sad when they started talking about love.
“I’m the one with that science degree, but you make a good scientific point, buddy.”
Donna just wanted to see him laugh once.
