proof of donation: feeding gaza refugee camp with ahmed

hello everyone! last week, ahmed, our relief aid coordinator in gaza, received the funds from our latest campaign to feed all the children in his refugee camp. here are photos and videos (faces censored for privacy) to show what they've achieved with your help!

so what's next?

with the winter rains coming, ahmed and his team would like to create waterproof shelters for the recent influx of refugees that have been displaced to this camp. for only $120, ahmed's team can build a shelter for 1 whole family -- incredibly cost-effective and sturdy compared to the expensive tents in the market right now!

we did a similar project last winter with incredibly successful results, and are confident that we can deliver again.

We've finally done it! Some of our finances were stuck, but we've managed to set it right and donate a total of five hundred dollars to the River Otter Ecology Project 🦦 We couldn't have done it without all you lovely fans! Thank you again!

2026 Pride Bundles: Proof of Donation!

Thank you so much to everyone who purchased our 2026 Pride Bundles for Charity! In total, we sold 9 General Imprint Bundles, 7 Explicit Imprint Bundles, and 2 Art Bundles, raising a gross of $350. The Press donated 40% of our share of the proceeds, and multiple authors and artists also donated some or all of their royalties, with the result that of that $350 gross, we raised a sum to donate equal to $143.63 (41% of our gross earnings).

As we had discussed in previous posts about the bundles, we divided this donation amount between our two chosen charities: Queer Liberation Library and Transgender Law Center. Half of our total is $71.81, so I rounded that up to $72, with the expectation that if I was given the option to also cover the processing fee, I’d do so (QLL gave me that option; TLC did not). So our actual donated total is $147.46.

I also ended up with an accidental “matching donation,” in that my mother – rather than buy bundles that contained works she already has access to as a Patreon supporter – decided to do her own independent donations to each charity, each for $100. So massive shout-out to my mother, as well, for helping us do way more good than the Press alone can afford to do.

As a side note, our entire team for the Queer Liberation Library fundraiser donated $797, which put us in fourth among all the teams who participated in that fundraiser, and entitled us to request that two titles be added to the QLL’s collection! QLL and I have already concluded our e-mails about that, and I expect the announcement to go out sometime in August, based on what they told me. So be on the look out! Thank you to everyone who saw us on the team list or clicked through our team link and gave, I appreciate you helping us support a great cause and making queer books (including those we’ve published!) more accessible to more people!

Note that I made the donation on the morning of June 30th, even though the bundles weren’t technically over at that time, to ensure that we’d get our money in as part of the QLL’s June fundraiser. I had planned to make a second donation if needed, if we sold more bundles after these donations went in, however that ended up moot – these numbers do reflect our final totals.

Thanks to all of your support, purchases, and boosting, Eros has raised $4152.03 for Old Friends! According to the information on their site, it takes roughly $1500 per year for each individual dog’s care and feeding. In other words, we’ve funded just about three dogs’ food, toys, treats, vet care, and shelter for an entire calendar year! 

 We’ve provided the proof of donation below.

We could not have managed this incredible feat without your support, and certainly not without the incredible efforts and talents of our participants! Words cannot express how awed we are by the outpouring of support (financial and otherwise) this fandom has shown this project.

Our participants can reveal their works to the public on Tuesday, July 30th, so if you weren’t able to purchase Eros, you’ll want to watch this space alongside our Twitter as we spotlight the amazing creations from our project.

Once again, we thank you all so much. This project would be nothing without your kindness and support. It certainly would have been nothing without our amazing participant roster, so we want to extend a huge amount of gratitude to them as well.

Hello, everyone! Primadonna: a Yuri!!! On Ice zine for the Girls Who Run the World has now officially completed its journey. 

We’ve now submitted our donation to the Dr. Susan Love Research foundation, and thanks to the hard work of all of our participants as well as the incredible outpouring of support you’ve all shown, our donation amount totals $884.76.

All of our contributors will be able to post their works on April 8th, so watch this space as we reblog and RT these fully revealed works. 

We cannot thank you all enough for the support, hard work, touching stories, and passion for this project! Thank you especially to our participants because we wouldn’t have a zine without them.

Amrâlimê’s Donation

(December 15, 2015) Hello everyone! Below is an update we originally made back on November 27th to show that we donated the Amrâlimê money to the charity. However, we had to put the info in our drafts since we had to further blur out mod Ewebean’s personal information because it was still readable on the post at the time. Our mods were all busy at the time with school and work so we had to wait to edit and post the information again. But now that the info has been edited here is the proof of donation! Thank you for your patience!

We’re SO sorry we’ve been late on providing receipts and proof guys! It’s been insanely busy for all three mods, and yes Ewe did get the money on time she was slammed with work and gallery Student Show work etc. But we did it!

We have donated the $2,441.60 to edenprojects! Give a round of applause! *ROARING CHEERS*

So let us post some receipts and details before we break down the results of this project.

the donation was sent! We know, we thought it was little fanfare too. You can hardly see the green box that confirms that they got it.

Now for the results! So for donating $2,441.60 according to this information on the project’s home:

For every 10¢, a tree is planted. So if we divide Amrâlimê’s earnings with 0.10:

2441.60  ÷ 0.10 = 24,416 trees planted!

Thanks to the support of you guys, we have made enough trees to make, not just a couple trees, but forests and forests of trees. Not only will this restore healthy green areas to Haiti, it will promote jobs, work hours for the locals, create ecosystems and habitats for species that really needed our help.

This project was such a pleasure to moderate, and it aches very much in our hearts to say goodbye to it. But it could not have been successful without the aid of you, the donators that helped make this project a reality. Thank you for supporting these artists, thank you for planting your trees.
