I’m writing a scene in Agent Purple where a character grooms another character into believing that acts of violence against someone who is pretty much their friend is okay, and the scene basically goes like this:

T: don’t worry, Q, I know you’re a shit person, but I am too, so I promise I won’t tell anyone.
