My family has taken i's story public. We have been trying HARD to get help to our relatives in Puerto Rico, and after our phone call yesterday--where we were actually left discussing how we, private citizens, might be able to contact the Mayor of Utuado (who doesn't have a working phone) to ask him to "officially request aid"-- we decided to write an article about what we've been facing. It's up on Philly.com now, and it will be in the Inquirer tomorrow. We need to keep the media, and the country, invested in this story, so the people of Puerto Rico aren't forgotten with the next news cycle. Thanks to everyone who has helped us out.
