Well, I didn't quite make NaNo again this year. To be honest, I think I psyched myself out trying to make myself write for only original works instead of just letting it flow. I did finally start writing in earnest on a project Monday this week, and got a little over 10k, so I'm actually proud of that. I don't know if I'll actually post it anywhere because I don't quite consider it finished. And I'm on the fence on if I might try to rework it to fit an original concept instead of fanfic. Mostly because I'm really only using the barest of bones, but I'm not sure what I would really even change if I did.
It was fun though. I made a new playlist and typed a lot in the evenings on my phone while chilling on the couch. And I did get to hash out some stuff for my one long going personal work with a friend. We have words for one of the races now! And some culture definition! Which was super fun because I love world building.
I'll probably keep working on what I've started for now. Whenever I lose the drive for it, maybe I can switch back to my personal works.
I will eventually finish a thing.
