That was strange... What was that whining sound? Rias pressed her ear up to the wall, listening. This had been the little room Anubis had disappeared into when she’d been here last, right? Was he ok? He sounded sort of pained...
When knocking didn’t get a response she pushed the door open.
It looked like he was asleep, but it sounded like he was having a really bad dream. “Anubis, hey. You ok?” She hesitated about the doorway, nervous about coming closer, before she finally bit the bullet and moved over to nudge him. “Hey, wake up.”

Rias had discovered that, so long as she wore the school uniform, no one took any notice of her that all. It was probably because she fit right in amongst the dolls, completely average in every way. This had made it much easier to do what she wanted while she was here in this world, it was great to basically have free reign, no questions asked.
Given that she’d mastered the art of making chocolate, and Loki apparently loved candy, Rias had decided that would be her next project as she tried to learn how to cook more things.
This was exactly why she was in the library, collecting together an armful of books. Surrounded by dolls she didn’t stand out, but they seemed to avoid the library for the most part. All the more reason for her to be in a rush to get in and out.
