lily was born as the youngest daughter of two to muggle parents.
from a young age, one of her best friends was her eldest sister, petunia. however, this relationship would be permanently damaged once the truth of lily's nature was revealed to the evans family.
she became friends with severus snape who lived not far from her. he was the one who told her that she was a witch. he was the one who taught her all about hogwarts and the wizarding world. the more she learnt about it, the more excited she became.

shortly after and during the first wizarding war, a war that lily found herself being an active participant in, she fell pregnant with harry. she was both excited and terrified about bringing him into the middle of the conflict but she longed to be a mother.
with everything that had happened with the war and the longbottoms, lily took in neville and raised him like her own but made sure he never forgot about alice and frank.
following her experience during the first wizarding war, lily decided to become a healer / muggle doctor. she made the decision to open her own clinic, accepting both magical and non-magical clients. owning her own clinic meant that she could still help others but be super present in harry and neville's childhood.
lily would do anything for the people she cares about, whether that means comforting them or tearing down the person verbally that hurt them. she has also been known to have a temper when ignited, something she doesn't show often but it is there under the surface.
