This is a shot in the dark but

Does anyone here know how to create really, really basic software? 

I’m talking about being able to display several pages/images/play sounds by clicking/button navigation easy. Like, think PowerPoint simple except for in program form. I wanna be able to import my own images for backgrounds/buttons/layout and etc..

I know there’s several programs to help you build such a program but I’m not sure which one is best. How much coding do I need to know? Would this type of project be google-able? 

(I’ve already googled this a lot, only to discover that programmers are SHIT at teaching (sorry, just my current experience, no offense). Literally every tutorial starts with “uh, I’ll show you how to make um a program to do anything you want. I won’t explain what type of program my goal is. I won’t even tell you what I want it to do. I’ll just start my video by telling you to download my program editor of choice and then launch into talking about various types of forms.”)
