IT WAS QUIET up here on the hill, the cliff overlooking a bit of land that was far too HIDDEN for others to appreciate quite like her. Though for once she isn’t ALONE, a man stands a bit off --- staring at the same scenery, lulled in the silence. it had been a few months since the incident, and although xander had taken time to check on this man every week - he felt as though this meeting would be different. josh was... an interesting patient. from the creature he had met and the person he was now - it was a shocking change that still had him shaken to the bone. every visit was a josh he hadn’t met before, and instead of regressing into the rage that he had met firsthand, there was a relief in progress towards the other more H U M A N side. 

when gazes catch --- his throat closes and his mind goes blank before flipping into overdrive. a small, curious smile. “hey.” there was no reason to hold formalities, they were past that by now. “how are you feeling today? they tell me you... have IMPROVED. but they’re full of shit, i want to hear it from you. what’s on your mind?”
