...and then this weird guy who has some sort of THING about Nandor starts showing up at the coffee shop every day, and Nandor begins to learn that maybe that isn't all he needs.

And maybe this isn't how things have always been."

AC1 Week day 2: Eden

must be fun for all the partly-Isu assassins to realise they have just as much in common with a piece of eden as they do with other human beings

Let me tell you about Curveball.

Curveball is a prose comic whose basic plot is summed as, what if Cap got whacked and Bucky had to solve the murder.

Okay it’s more complicated than that and the characters are at least a hair more different (read til the end of the second chapter at least I beg you) and it’s probably problematic as all hell because there were a few things I noticed and if I noticed then there’s a heap of stuff that people more aware and educated (and less privileged *waves as a white cismale*) would know and be able to criticise more properly and it isn't nearly as diverse as it could be (I can think of 5-6 female characters off the top of my head and nearly twice that for male characters even more quickly, and it’s a VERY white crowd, and no trans characters as far as I know, and no LGBTQ+ representation (yet) and I'm not selling this well).

Point. There’s a point here.

It’s a superhero word comic thing and it has villians and heroes and people who play jump rope with the line and conspiracies and sass and pokes fun at superhero copyright law and I’ve recently caught up with it again after I broke my harddrive (Again. For the third time.) and I liked it. Which depending on how you know me might not be a selling point.
