I present to you, prosecutors office (not including the paynes I hate them) crackhead edition:
Gumshoe: there's not much brain in my head right now
Miles: there's not much brain in your head at any given time
It's a tie between the Apollo World's Smallest Violin and the WAA & Prosecutor's Office Legends Never Die... so I'm letting you guys choose
Which one?
Apollo (World's Smallest Violin)
WAA & Prosecutor's Office (Legends Never Die Alan Walker Remix version)
PLZ RESPECT THAT I CAN ONLY DO ONE!
In regards to my last post, imagine you're either a new defense attorney going to work at the WAA, or a new prosecutor going to work at the Prosecutor's Office:
The WAA:
Alrighty, I think you're pretty much good to go for your first trial. What's that? How should you do your "Objection"? Well, that's no problem! Here, watch how I do it, then try to copy my movements if you'd like. Remember to sound confident. Just practice that until you find your own rythm in it, ok? Feel free to ask for advice from any of us, we'll help you out.
The Prosecutor's Office:
Well, now that you've gotten settled you should be recieving your first case fairly soon. Hm? Oh, you want advice on raising an Objection? Very well, watch how I do mine. Now you try.....no, no, don't just copy me, try to find your own unique way of doing it, it'll help to bring focus to you and set you apart. Though I recommend not being too flashy like some prosecutors. Try to practice it when you can, feel free to ask if you need more help.
Two prosecutors with a lot in common engage in office gossip
Ongoing list of things overheard at the office:
“We confiscated a pair of fluffy handcuffs at security this morning.”
“I think it was death by atomic wedgy”
“If you change that back to a m-dash I will kill you”
“I spelled judgment wrong for the first year of law school.”
“Is it rude to call the defense attorney a lying liar who lies to her face?”
“You can’t call the defense attorney a liar in your brief. She is, but save that bench conferences.”
“The nice thing about guys like this defendant procreating is job security.”
“Does he have the poop emoji tattooed on his hand? Yes? I don’t know if I want to make the plea offer lower or higher.”
Miles: I've known you for almost 2 years
Gumshoe: that's a long time
Gumshoe: poor you
Miles: poor me indeed
