also literally stanford doesn’t offer a pre-law course, so sam wasn’t actually studying law during his undergrad years at stanford. like, he was a senior undergrad applying to law school, which means that he was studying some form of a BA (most likely or could be a BSC) in order to begin his postgraduate law study like. he was literally just a college student my man. he was interested in law (so he took the lsat) and he had an interview for a law school, but he never actually got that far. we all saw the pilot.
