happy new year 2021
Saw Tenet for the second time and these were the things I loved
The Protagonist, his sarcastic selfless ass
Neil, I just love him
The soundtrack, I thought I'd miss Hans Zimmer but I didn't, thanks to Ludwig Göransson
The casual Nolan cinematography
The airplane scene
The scene with the trucks
The whole River Song×Doctor thing going on with Neil and the Protagonist
The Suits™
Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Got sore throat (blame parents who don’t know how to keep their children home when they’re sick—and for context, I work around children/students) and decided to rewatch Tenet for the second, third, and fourth time.
I loved the movie the first time watching it and now I’m absolutely obsessed. Time to put my other works on the back burner and start writing a Tenet/Inception crossover fic with the focus of ProtagoNiel, and where the Protagonist and Dom connect over their struggles on the concepts of responsibility and letting go. Let’s fucking go!!
Here In My Head (I'm Drunk On You)
John’s always cared. Maybe a little too much, the CIA used to say. But to John, every trigger matters, every life matters, and it matters when his team gets clear. It matters even more when they don’t. Thankfully, this is one of those times that they do. However, that isn’t the beginning of this story.
It begins, like most things do, with a bang.
Read my newest Tenet fanfic on AO3!
And also like, the rest of the time, even spending a week locked in a shipping container and half asleep, Neil still looks pretty pulled together. Even after the BATTLE Neil looks fine (actually Neil looks his best after the battle) but that first meeting he's kind of a mess. He looks tired and his hair is a mess and like, oh my God it all makes sense now.
Yeah one could write BOOKS as to what mission he was coming from that had him so unsettled because it’s one thing to be meeting TP for the first time (from TP’s POV) but his whole ~waves hands~ things was just really out of character, or at least the one we got presented in the rest of the movie!
Honestly makes me wanna write something from his POV and just fuck it and figure out a way around TP’s name by liek redacting it or something lmaooo
