I know everyone wants Protagonist Serena to go to where ever Legends Z-A is, but I honest to GOD want Rival Calem to go there instead (assuming the plot uses Time Travel).
I want that "Protagonist realises they miss their rival more than they thought now that they're gone" ANGST baby. Serena in most people's HCs is already well-adjusted, and Calem's the EXACT opposite. And this fuels me. Fuels my desire for them to be placed in opposite situations of sorts (because tbh I doubt Z-A Kalos is gonna be a happy place, seeing Legends Arceus).
I wanna see this girl break a lil bit, dammit. I wanna see her realise just how much the relationship she had with one of her rivals suddenly being snatched away impacts her, and her duties as champion. I wanna see the drama with her other rivals, and parents, and Calem's parents, all while dealing with the popularity nonsense that being a Champion entails.
I wanna see the unadjusted kid go through a world where he has NO idea what the hell is going on, and deal with something entirely new. All in the meantime guiding the people of the past to a brighter future and growing personally as a person. I wanna see the weird kid, the one who has all the trauma that a shut-in usually has, be the one to help people and be placed in the position of Serena, someone who has done the same for many others time and time again.
