This is not the traditional contest between one set of politicians favoring progressive policies and another offering a more conservative vision. It is between a Democratic Party that believes voters ought to be able to make those ideological choices and a GOP that no longer believes the will of many of the American people must be respected.

Trump Republicans are devoted to the semi-fascist Dear Leader Donald Trump. Democrats are devoted to democracy – it’s in the name.

If you think democracy is a good idea, Vote Democratic and go out of your way to make sure that vote slackers you know don’t miss the 2022 midterms.

Democracy in the US is under sustained attack. The only way to protect it is to keep Trump Republicans out of power for the foreseeable future. There’s no such thing as taking a vacation from democracy.

Senate Republicans Shot Down an Extra $250 Million in Funding to Protect US Elections

So much for GOP Leader Mitch McConnell’s empty threats that Russia “better not do it again.”

Because Republicans are counting on Russia’s vote #PutinRepublicans  #RepublicansForRussia

The amendment would have funded cybersecurity efforts and replaced outdated election equipment!

They ballooned the deficit by a trillion-plus, gave billions in tax breaks to the mega-rich, but when it comes to securing the nation’s democratic elections, that’s just a bridge too far for Senate Republicans.

Only one GOP senator voted for a measure that would have provided an extra $250 million in election security funding in the lead up to the 2018 midterms.
