Momoi &The Generation of Miracles, Fluff, Slight Angst
Her motherknocked on Momoi’s door and shouted to go to sleep, but the girl didn’t evenflinch. She continued to write data and analysis on her papers, too many cupsof coffee beside her.
When was thelast night she had slept properly? Momoi didn’t remember, but she couldn’t stopnow. Her boys were growing exponentially and changing rapidly: if she didn’twant to be left behind, she had too work hard. She had to keep up with them.
And she didn’twant to remain alone, so she was ready to scarify everything for it.
“Just a littlebit more…” she whispered to herself.
Momoi felt like hier body was pressed down to thatunfamiliar and uncomfortable bed by a giant rock. Surrounded by blackness, shefelt too tired to open her eyelids, but a disturbing chattering had alreadyawakened her.
“…I can’t believe you didn’t notice…”
“…not my fucking fault…”
“…we’re all guilty…”
“…you’re making too much noise…”
“…it they kick us out…”
Finally, with a groan Momoi raised her eyelids and letthe light blind her. She scrunched her nose as she blinked and took in a whiteceiling. Her head was throbbing loudly.
Silent fell in the room.
Momoi tried to straighten herself, but immediatelyfelt hands pushing her down again. Colors filled in her vision.
“Guys?” she murmured tiredly, recognizing her friends, still wearing their basketball uniforms.
They were all looking at her worriedly, even if Akashistrained a smile.
“Hi Momoi-san, do you feel better?”
Momoi frowned, looking around. She was in a hospital, wasn’t she?
“W-what happened?” she mumbled confused.
“You fucking collapsed, idiot!” Aomine growledflicking her head, but his anger barely covered the worry in his voice.
Kise elbowed him with a glare.
“Don’t hurt her when she already doesn’t feel well!”
“You fucker!”
Kuroko rolled his eyes.
“Please stop. You’re causing a ruckus.”
“Thank you Tetsu-kun!” the girl smiled sweetly at him,but the boy frowned.
“Your mom told us you collapsed because you overworkedyourself,” accused her with a disapproving tone.
She averted her eyes, guiltily, but she couldn’tescape.
“Momoi, as much as we all appreciate your efforts, I’dfeel better knowing your health is not in danger,” Midorima continuedstraightening his glasses.
Murasakibara nodded.
“We got very upset when they told us you weren’tcoming to the match because you were in the hospital. Mine-chin was sofrustrated he broke the basket.” Aomine scowled at his words.
Momoi’s eyes went wide.
“The match!” she yelled jumping up, “I can’t believe Ididn’t make it! How did it go? Did you win?”
Akashi sighed deeply and gently pushed her down againby the shoulders.
“Yes Momoi-san, we won before coming here, but this isnot what matters now,” he reprimanded her in a soft tone, “Please take care ofyour body from now on, we were deeply worried.”
All the boys nodded at his words.
“Your work is very important for us Momoicchi, butyou’re more! Don’t scare us like that!” Kise chirped with his hands on thehips.
Momoi closed her mouth and lowered her eyes.
“I-I…I just wanted to keep up with you…” she revealedbitterly, ashamed for what she had done. Of course they were going to getworried.
“And we appreciate it a lot, but we prefer to see yousmiling and chirping by our side that having extra data,” Kuroko replied quietly,a faint smile on his lips.
Momoi blushed at his words and finally nodded.
“I’m sorry guys…” she murmured and the tensionvanished.
“Alright, now that everything is settled, we’vebrought a movie to watch,” Akashi informed her with a sort of strange softnessand satisfaction in his eyes.
“Kise help me moving the other beds!” Aomine shoutedat his friend, while trying to move a bed near Momoi’s.
“Don’t give me orders!” the other replied, but did ashe was told.
“I brought snacks,” Murasakibara gave the girl a bagfull of sweets and different chips.
Midorima sighed, looking at the mess his teammateswere doing while Akashi tried to start his pc.
“If they kick us out, I’m not going to blame them…”
“I’ll vanish if it happens,” Kuroko commented quietlyand Midorima glared at him.
In less than five minutes, they were all cuddledaround Momoi and were enjoying a stupid movie together to make her smile again.
Hello! Back again for more!! <3 A Momoi prompt where she gets attacked, and the GoM weren't there to save her, so when they see her after, she tries to hide the injuries but they see a cut on her arm or a bruise and they just explode with protectiveness when Momoi tells them it's not a big deal and they shouldn't worry about it? Thank youuuu for writing all these Momoi fics! You're amazing!
Hi dear! HereI am as promised! And I’m pretty satisfied too! I love Protective!Gom 😉 I hope you like it too!

Safe
Momoi was seated on a bench in the lockers room, looking shyly at the ground. Around her, standing in an intimidating circle, the entire Generation of Miracles was staring at her. Their eyes were filledwith a mix of anger and fear.
The girl tightened her fingers around the hems of thelong sleeves of the jersey of her uniform and bit his bottom lip. The silencewas heavy.
Aomine was opening and closing his fists slowly, trying to restrain himself, while Kuroko had a hand on his arm, ready to stepin if he didn’t manage to. With the other hand, the boy was tugging Kise’t-shirt since he was wrapped in a similar murderous aura and the ghost boy didn’twant to risk anything. Not that Kuroko felt any calmer, but he knew that rightnow it wasn’t what Momoi needed. Midorima was resting against the locker withhis arms crossed and his eyes only slightly open, taking deep breaths.Murasakibara was towering behind Akashi, who was standing in front of the girlwith his most terrifying polite façade.
In the end, Akashi took a deep breath.
“Please, Momoi-san take off your jersey,” he orderedpiercing her with his furious stare. And even if Momoi knew he wasn’t angrywith her, yet shivered.
Trembling, she shook her head.
“Momoi-san…” he exhaled clenching his fists, “We haveto see what they have done to you, so that we can decide if we can medicate youby ourselves or we have to bring you to the hospital,” he explained trying tokeep calm.
The girl shook her head again, fighting to restrainher tears. She knew they were going to get even angrier and she didn’t want it.
“Fuck Satsuki!” Aomine burst taking a step towardsher, “If you don’t fucking take it off, I’m gonna do it myself!” he growled, before Kuroko yanked him back with a disapproving look.
Momoi shrieked away from him and unwillingly let atear spill.
Her body was still trembling in fear and she was soupset she had difficulties at reasoning properly.
“Momoicchi,” Kise tried, crouching to be on the sameeye-level as her, “Please let us help you. I promise we’re not going to getmad, all right?” he offered sweetly.
Kuroko felt the impulse to slap himself at his poorattempt. How could Kise say that when his eyes were filled with a blatant desireto get revenge? He could have least tried to hide it.
“Momoi-san, please.” Instead, he decided to persuadeher too.
“We’re not going to move from here until we haveassured you’re okay,” Midorima muttered, glancing at her, and Murasakibaranodded.
Momoi bit the inside of her cheek and wipe awayfugitive tears, before she slowly started to unbutton her jersey. When shefinally took it off, Akashi held his breath and Kise cursed loudly. Aomineslammed a fist against the nearest locker. Murasakibara accidentally burst apack of candies he had in his hands. Midorima froze and Kuroko clenched hisfists.
Her pale arms were covered in yellow and purplebruises, and on the left one, there was a bleeding scratch too. She didn’t havethe heart to look at them.
“I’m going to kill them, I’m going to ki-” Aominehissed as if he was ready to murder someone on the spot, but Akashi raised ahand to stop his outburst.
“Atsushi, please take the first-aid kit,” he asked andthe giant promptly nodded, going to rummage in one of the closets.
“Who did it.” Aomine’s voice was trembling with rageand Kuroko glared at him.
Momoi tightened her lips and turned her head.
“Satsuki damn!” he cursed again and this time Kise puta hand on his arm, squeezing it lightly. He was as mad as his friend, but hehad understood Momoi wasn’t going to say anything then and she didn’t need tobe assaulted like that. She was still in shock.
“Boys or girls?” Aomine ignored him, but at leastcalmed his tone.
She didn’t answer again.
“Are you hurt in other places?” Kuroko interruptedthem, caressing kindly her pink hair.
“…some bruises on the legs, but nothing serious,” shereplied mildly. And her pride, but she wasn’t gonna say that.
Kuroko nodded, relaxing his shoulders a bit.
Murasakibara returned with the kit.
“Here,” he said giving it to Akashi, but Midorimastepped in and took it.
“I’m better at taping and I’ve studied a bit of first-aidprocedures,” he explained waiting for Akashi’s consent. When the captain nodded,he took it and kneeled down, starting to pull out bandages, icepacks and disinfectant.
“I have to think you’re not going to say anythingregarding the identity of your assaulters,” Akashi sighed with disappointment, but she nodded stubbornly.
“We have a tournament,” she replied a small butdetermined voice, “I don’t want you to be expelled because you’ve donesomething stupid. This is nothing.”
At her words, everybody tensed.
“Momoi-sa-”
“Momoicchi!” Kise’svoice covered Akashi’s, “This isnot ‘nothing’!” he scolded her crossing his arms. Hiseyes were unusually serious. “Someoneout there hurt and bruised you. They attacked you. It is something serious. We’re both worried about you and furious thatsomeone dared to hurt you, please don’t try to dismiss it ever again. When it concernsyour safety, it’s a matter of top priority for us. Have I been clear?”
Momoi blinked surprised and nodded slowly, a bit embarrassed.
“You should tell us, I don’t give a fuck about the tou-”Aomine grumbled, but Kuroko rolled his eyes and pinched his arm. He yelped andgrabbed Kuroko’s head, but Akashi gestured him to shut up and stay put.
“If you don’t want to tell us, for now I’m going tolet it go.” Akashi spoke quietly and reassuringly, but truth it was because hewas sure to be able to find who hurt her and make them pay without involving heror the others. “Anyway,” he continued, “I want someone always with you for atleast the next month. No “but” accepted. Especially when returning home.”
“I’ll eat with her, my class is next to her,”Murasakibara offered raising his hands and Akashi nodded.
“Aominecchi and I can walk her home!” Kise smiledputting a hand on his heart, “You’re going to be safe with us!”
Aomine didn’t bother to add anything, since it wasobvious that he was going to stick with her from now on.
Kuroko sighed, feeling bad at leaving her with thosetwo idiots.
“I’m coming with you too, especially when Kise has hisphotoshoots.” He assured her with a faint smile.
“Before, after and during practice, I can stay withyou,” Akashi said and then looked at Midorima, “Shintarou?”
He was applying some bandages, his fingers moving kindlyand carefully on her skin, but he nodded.
“Please, if something happens, tell us Momoi-san,” heasked her, stopping his actions for a second to give her a worried look.
Momoi finally felt safe. She was safe. She let thestress and the fear surface, melting into tears and streaming down her cheeks.
“Y-yes,” she sobbed covering her face, “Thank you guys…”
And in a second she found herself in the middle of agroup hug.
Hi!! Back again <3 I was wondering if you could write an angst Momoi fic? Where she believes that she's now just a burden to the GoM (since she's the only girl and can't play basketball) and becomes almost depressed, distancing herself from all of them, even Aomine and Kuroko? And the GoM have no idea why and they try to bring her back? Just some angst on Momoi's part and the GoM being really shocked that she ever felt like that because she's rly important to them, so they comfort her?
Sorry dear! Ittook me ages! However, here our sad Momoi and a Lost Miragen, ready to comforther! I tried to put all the elements you request together, without lengtheningthis drabble too much. I hope you enjoy it!

Left Behind
“Okay Satsuki, what’s wrong?” Aomine banged his handagainst the wall, blocking the girl’s path. She jolted and took a step back, averting her eyes.
Some of the students in the corridor stopped andlooked at them worried, but nobody dared to step in.
“I don’t know what you are referring to.” She repliedin a forced cheerful tone, stretching her lips in a small smile.
Aomine frowned and anger flashed in his eyes.
“You know.” He growled, offended that she could thinkhe hadn’t noticed.
She shrugged and tried to walk past him, but the boymoved and grabbed her wrist.
“Oi Satsuki!” shouted angrily, but she freed herselfrashly.
“I said it’s nothing!” she protested hurt, loweringher eyes.
Aomine was speechless.
Why?
In the last three weeks Momoi had distanced herselffrom him and all the Generation of Miracles. And that didn’t make sense. Heknew she loved being their manager and spending time with them. Momoi alwayssmiled the brightest when they stopped tougher eating popsicles after practiceand she laughed often when they bickered like children. So why she had stopped? Was she annoyed by them? Had they done something wrong?
Every started when a week ago, after practice, she saidshe had to go home early because of her mother; Aominehad believed her, even ifit was strange. The second that she had too much homework. The third that shewas tired. Was that even an excuse? Something was definitely wrong.
The boys and he had gathered together, trying tounderstand what was happening with her but didn’t manage to understand it. Inthe end, Akashi had given Aomine the task to try the first approach, since theywere closer. Unfortunately, it wasn’t going as well as they hoped.
“Can’t we talk about it?” Aomine tried again, exhausted by her stubbornness, scratching his nape. Why they couldn’t playbasketball together like usual? He had hoped she was going to smile for realand laugh it off, saying him to hurry to practice.
Momoi tightened her lips and shook her head insilence. She was staring at the ground, hardly restraining her tears.
She didn’t want to say it aloud. She didn’t want tomake it more real. It was already hard. Already painful. She just wanted tomend her heart alone.
“Satsuki. I can’t understand.” Aomine was practically beggingher, now worried about her wet eyes. He slowly let her wrist go and put a handon her head. “I’m here.” He muttered in a whisper.
Those words made finally Momoi burst.
“You could never understand!” she cried, clenching herfists, “ You can’t! And you know why? Because you’re a boy, a basketball playerand a talented guy. Everything that I’m not and I’ll never be even if I wantedto. You can’t understand at all!” she exploded, tears running down her cheeks,as she felt all the hopelessness and loneliness stored in her heart surfacing. She felt so scared lately. So insecure about her friendship with them that shecouldn’t take anymore.
She horribly feared a sudden “goodbye.”
“What are you saying?” Aomine muttered with wide eyes, totally lost.
“I can see it, you know I good I am at seeing things.”She mumbled covering her eyes with both hands, “You are all getting better, you’regoing to become such amazing players that soon you won’t need me anymore as amanager. You won’t need anyone. And then what? What’s going to bind me to you?I’m a useless girl, I can’t play with you and I can’t keep up with you either…You’regoing to leave me behind. I don’t want to feel that lonely again.” She explainedsobbing and shaking like a leaf, letting everything flowing outside of her tightenedchest.
Aomine remained in a shocked silent, while her wordssunk in. Slowly, he began to understand.
“So,” he asked quietly, “You preferred to leave usbefore we could do it?” His eyes were firm and his tone unusually calm for ahotheaded guy like him.
Momoi blushed at his question, knowing deep down shehad chosen the coward way.
Aomine sighed, taking her silence as an answer.
He didn’t know what to say, because that was so stupidand he had never even thought about that possibility. But well, he was a man ofactions so it wasn’t a problem.
“Idiot.” He commented angrily, “Come with me.” Then ordered, grabbing suddenly her wrist and dragging her down the corridor.
“Aomine-kun!” she screeched.
Momoi tried to break free and complained whining, buthe didn’t loose his grip nor he bothered to reply. He just walked down thestairs, out of the schools and finally to the gym. Not caring about thestartled glances they received, he reached the locker room and opened itwithout even knocking.
Inside, the Generation of Miracle was changing and atthe sudden entrance looked up shocked. many of them were still half naked.
“Aominecchi?” Kise called blushing at the sight ofMomoi and quickly pulling up his uniform pants.
“What happened?” Kuroko asked tilting his head, theonly one ready.
“I hope there’s a good motive for this.” Midorimasighed fixing his glasses and stop tying his shoes.
“Well, Momo-chin is crying.” Murasakibara, withoutbothering about being shirtless, and five pairs of eyes fixed on her. She instinctivelyhid behind Aomine, ashamed.
“This idiot,” the boy started pointing at her, “Thinkthat soon we’re not going to need her anymore and leave her behind. That’s whyshe tried to run away from us.” He bluntly summed up the problem.
At first, they stared at her speechless and then bursttalking all at the same time.
“Momoi-san, that’s highly absurd.”
“Momoicchi what are you even saying? Nobody is gonnahelp me surviving with those guys without you!”
“I believe that without you, Momoi, our chances to winwould drop dramatically.”
“Momo-chin, you’re too sweet to be left behind.”
Akashi, feeling his inner captain taking control, steppedtowards her and gestured Aomine to move. He rolled his eyes and let her withouta shield.
Momoi fixed her gaze on the floor, blushing at alltheir caring words.
“Momoi-san,” he quietly called her in a sweet tonethat made her raise the head, “Even if one day we’re going enough stupid tothink we don’t need you as a manager, that I believe it’s highly improbable, please stick with us either way. Because we’re never going to stop being yourfriends, no matter what happen. We like you for the sweet girl you are, notbecause you’re our manager.” He reassured her fondly, patting her head full of kindness.
Momoi looked at him incredulous and then at all of them, who were smiling brightly at her. Ah, she had been so stupid.
“I’m sorry…” she burst into another fit of sobs andthat startled them. They didn’t know at all with a girl crying like that. Wasshe happy? Was she sad? Why she was crying?
Luckily, Kisetook attention.
“GROUP HUG!” He screamed grabbing Kuroko and Aomine bythe wrist and launching himself over the girl; the other two also grabbed thefirst person they found next to themselves and soon Momoi was in the middle ofa mass of cursing and laughing bodies pressed together.
And the fear finally vanished. No matter what wasgoing to happen in the future, no matter how much they were going to change,Momoi wasn’t going to leave them alone, even if they asked it. Because now sheknew, they were never going to leave her behind too.
Following the lead of that overprotective GOM, may I ask for a really funny scenario of Kagami dating Momoi, and everyone in the GOM are out to threaten and kill - just kidding, they give him their "blessings" and a LIL BIT of a warning~ please make it extra chaotic, like the GOM challenging Kagami in a one-on-one and only if he wins can they properly accept him, or something like that, your choice XD Thanks a whole bunch c;
Hi dear! I hope you’re going to enjoy it, because Ihad a lot of fun writing it! It could be a bit chaotic, I hope it’s stillreadable. Also, I’ve exaggerated some characters for a more comical effect, soit could be slightly ooc, but it’s voluntary.
Have fun!

Kagami and Momoi were walking down the street holdinghands, trying to reach the park for an ice-cream, when a car screeched to halton the street beside them. Momoi blinked perplexed at the long, black car andthen a horrified expression flashed on her face.
Kagami looked too, noticing his girlfriend hadsuddenly stopped, and, under his shocked stare, Akashi got off.
“Akashi?” the red-haired muttered, a really badfeeling shivering down his spine.
“I’m so sorry Kagamin!” Momoi whispered, squeezing hishand, and the boy understood.
Oh, fuck.
“Kagami-kun.” Akashi started, placing himself in themiddle of the way so they couldn’t pass, “Let me ask you, what do you think itqualifies you to be our Momoi-san’s boyfriend?” Asked in his cold, politevoice. Even if there was a smile on his lips, his eyes were terrifyinglyserious.
“You told them!” Kagami whispered her through hisgritted teeth.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t realize it!” she apologizedhonestly and he wanted to slam his head against the nearer wall.
“Kagami-kun, I asked you a question.” Akashi repeated, crossing his arm and losing his smile.
“Actually,-” He began, scratching embarrassedly his neck.
Luckily (or maybe not) for him, a sudden voiceinterrupted him.
“I’ve to admit I agree with him, Kagami-kun.” Kagamijolted and turned to see beside himself Kuroko, a vanilla shake in his hands.
“When did you arrive?” he yelled shocked.
“From the start. I’m tailing you two from Momoi’shouse.” He explained blankly, without even trying to feel ashamed.
“Are you fucking crazy?” Kagami shouted, while thegirl became red ‘till the ears. She had kissed her boyfriend in front of hisbest friend!
“I wanted to be sure you’re enough for Momoi-san.” Headded, furrowing his eyebrows.
“You’re my partner!”
“That’s exactly why I’m not persuaded.”
“Could you please not ignore me?” Akashi interruptedthem with a small cough.
“It’s not your business!” Kagami shouted exasperatedbut the two glared at him.
“She is ourbusiness.” Stated menacingly.
Kagami was without words. What they were, a mafia’sgroup?
“KAAAAGAAAAAMICCHIIII!” From far away, the Americanboy caught a glimpse of Kise, running towards him at full force, “WAIT RIGHTTHERE!”
“Damn!” Kagami cursed and, without other alternatives,he dashed past them before anyone could stop him, dragging Momoi with him.
“Kagamin!” she exclaimed, instinctively following himand trying to keep up with his peace.
“Run!” he ordered pulling her by the hand. They had toescape, now. Those guys had gone crazy.
He heard surprised exclamations behind him.
“Get on the car, Kuroko!” Akashi yelled and the carroared.
Damn!
To avoid being followed in the street, he suddenlyturned to the left, taking the wide path that entered in the park and wherecars couldn’t come. He felt a burst of hope in his chest, still running to finda place where they couldn’t reach them, but it was too early to celebrate.
In the air echoed the noise of wheels speeding on theground and, from nowhere, on their right appeared an open trailer pulled by abicycle; on the bicycle, Takao was pedaling with all his strength and seemed onthe verge of fainting, while in the trailer was seated Midorima.
“Kagami! Don’t escape and face us properly!” Midorimayelled at him with a cold glare, “We can’t let you take Momoi-san withouthaving tested your suitability!” added, fixing his glasses.
“Not you too!” Kagami groaned hopelessly.
“Kagami please stop! I’m dying!” Takao beggeddesperately, panting as if he was going to cease breathing in few seconds.Kagami looked at him with pity, but his sense of self-preservation forced himto avert his gaze.
“I’m sorry Takao!” apologized regretfully, suddenlychanging direction and pulling Momoi in a wood, through the grass and betweenthe trees.
“Kagamin!” she whined, starting to feel tired. Shewasn’t an athlete like him.
“I’m sorry Momoi, I’m going to hide you in a safeplace, don’t worry!” Kagami muttered, giving her a fond and worried glance. Shebreathed deeply but nodded. In that moment, she was scared of his friends too.
“YOU’RE NOT!” Kise jumped out of a bush, leaves andbranches in his clothes and ruffled hair, “YOU HAVE TO BEAT ME FIRST!” Yelledpointing a finger against him.
“Die Kise!” Kagami answering, avoiding him with asharp turn and running in the opposite direction. The boy swore and ran afterthem.
Suddenly, a wild Murasakibara appeared in front of thefugitives and Kagami crashed onto him.
“Ah,” the giant exclaimed blankly, “I’m gonna crushyou.” Added opening his purple eyes wide.
“You’re all crazy!” Kagami yelled hysterically, evading his hands and dragging Momoi to the left.
He exited finally from the wood in the open spacewhere children with playing peacefully, but a well-known voice echoed in theair.
“Kagami-kun, I order you to stop!” Akashi rdered, individuating him and chasing after him under the shocked star of the localmothers.
“You can’t escape us.” Kuroko threatened appearing tohis side like a damn ghost.
“Kagamicchi!” Kise was coming too near andMurasakibara tailed them silently and menacingly.
“Kagami stop!” The apparition from the left of Midorima,by foot, completed the cage to trap them.
They were surrounded, they could only go forward beforethey finally reached them.
Without even realizing, Kagami’s body had instinctivelybrought them to the only point of the park he knew well. He found himself onthe street basketball court without realizing and then abruptly stopped, realizinghe could have made a bigger mistake.
In the middle of it, playing lazily with a basketball, stood Aomine.
“Dai-chan!” Momoi exclaimed surprised and the boyraised his eyes on them.
Kagami, panting, froze on the spot and heard thescreaming guys who were tailing them coming to a halt too. They quieted down, stopping at the border of the court, like if some sort of special event was goingto take place.
“Oi, Kagami.” Aomine called him, giving a glance tohis and Momoi’s interlaced fingers, “Let’s play.” He only said, but Kagami knewhe couldn’t refuse. No that he wanted.
“Okay.” He replied, letting go his girlfriend’s handand patting reassuringly her head before entering the court.
Aomine didn’t even wait, coming at him immediately; hedribbled past him and pointed towards the basket, Kagamitried to stop him but he just evaded him and dunked. Kagami cursed and Aomine threw him the ball again.
“Satsuki sucks at cooking.” He suddenly said, in his low, indifferent tone,“Everything she prepares isn’t edible.”
Kagami furrowed, trying to pass through his defense.
“I know. I can cook for two,no problem.” Kagami replied, focused on the match.
Aomine stole the ball without breaking a sweat and advanced.
“She always bitches about everything, is childish, annoying andspoiled,” Aomine continued, trying to shoot but Kagami stopped him and tookpossession of the ball.
“Yeah, I know. But she’s also caring, cheerful andkind. Her flaws are not a problem.” Kagami muttered with firm eyes, trying toreach the other side of the court, but Aomine stole the ball again.
“She’s the worst type of woman,” Aomine added with aknowing snort, rushing to the basket, “She never says what she wants butexpects you to understand it; she needs attentions, love and to feel cherished.”
Kagami tried to stop him, but Aomine avoided him witha fluid movement.
“I know, but I don’t care. If it’s her, it’s fine. I’mjust happy being by her side. Cherishing and loving her is not a burden.” Mumbledblushing furiously.
Aomine let out a small sigh and jumped; Kagami mimickedhim to contrast him, but in the end, Aomine won and slammed the ball throughthe rim like a wild animal. Kagami fell with his back on the ground, whileAomine just landed on his feet and picked up the ball.
“Satsuki, I’ll be honest, is going to be a realhassle.” He stopped in front of him, “So, take care of her properly, alright?”murmured with a smirk on his lips, pointing the ball to his chest. His usualcold or annoyed eyes were unusually soft and worry was evident at their bottom.
Kagami blinked, understanding, and then a wide smile spreadon his face.
“You can bet on it!” Promised, standing up and takingthe ball, and Aomine nodded in acknowledgement.
Then Kagami looked at the silent crowd who had watchedthe match, and opened his arms wide.
“Someone else?” provoked, ready to fight for Momoi, who was watching the two boys of his life so fondly that she had small tears inher eyes.
Akashi sighed, crossing his arms.
“If Aomine had given his blessing, we can only surrender.”Admitted unwillingly.
“I have to agree, even if I don’t like it.” Midorima addedfixing his glasses.
“But remember,” Akashi continued, smiling politely asif he was going to murder him in his sleep, “If you ever make her suffer, we’regoing to let you experience the rage of the Generation of Miracles.” Threatenedand his eyes shined with the colors of the Emperor.
Kagami gulped, but nodded seriously.
“There’ll be no need.” Assured and he made a note tohimself to be the best boyfriend ever or, damn, he was dead for sure.
“It seems I have to acknowledge you too.” Kurokocommented, slightly disappointed, and resumed slurping his vanilla shake.
“You were just enjoying it, weren’t you?” Kagamigrowled, rubbing his temples for the exasperation.
“I’ve never said that.” He replied deadpanned, but hisfriend knew he was smirking inside.
“You bastard…” roared.
Kise stomped his foot on the ground.
“Eh? I don’t want to accept it like this!” poutedchildishly, “Kagamicchi play against me too. You have to beat me!” Challenged him, grinning wildly.
“Oh? Bring it on, Kise!” Kagami accepted, making theball spin on his finger.
“I still want to crush him too. I’ll play.” Murasakibaramuttered, throwing away an empty bag of chips and licking his fingers.
“I’ll take Takao and then we play too.” Midorimaagreed, moving towards where he had left the trailer.
“What happened to him?” Akashi asked slightly worried, arching an eyebrow.
“He fainted in the trailer but should be fine by now.”He answered shrugging as if it was something normal.
“A good match, I approve it.” Kuroko commented with afaint smile and stretched himself., preparing to play
Kagami looked with an excited smile at all the guys, willingto play basketball with him, but then he remembered an important thing.
“Wait, I was on a dat-”protested looking at hisgirlfriend, who chuckled.
“It’s okay Kagamin!” Momoi interrupted him, tugging astrand of hair behind the ear, “Let me see you win, right?” she cheered on him, winking and blowing a kiss.
Kagami blushed, stiffening, and nodded embarrassed.
“I-I’ll win for you.” Stuttered, starting to feelpumped up.
Wrong move. Wrong words.
A cold chill made him shiver. When he turned to facethe others, a curse left his lips and his animal instinct begged to run awayagain.
All the members of the Generation of Miracles weresurrounded by an evil, dark menacing aura and were smirking devilishly at him.
“Yes, Kagami-kun.” Akashi agreed activating hisEmperor Eye, “Try your best to win.”
Hi!! I'm back again!! XD sorry! Of course, I'm here again to bother you with another Momoi prompt, cause there's not enough of her in the world and you write her character beautifully. I was wondering if you could write a thing where Momoi is hurt (like being bullied or attacked while walking alone) and the MiraGen catch it happening and ohhhh they are so not gonna let that fly? Like furious and protective MiraGen?? Thank you so much!
Hi deat! Hereyour Protective Gom! Since they were still at Teikou and were young, I hadn’texaggerated the reactions too much. Thank you for your support and compliments *blushes* I hope you’re going to enjoy it!
Have a goodday!
Don’t touchthe manager
Momoi was walking peacefully to reach the gym, wherepractice was held every afternoon. She was a bit late, but she had to go and buysome tape and a new notebook where to keep her observations. Well, her boyswere probably fine.
Humming and cheerfully swinging her paperbag, she tooka turn to the right through a shortcut behind the building, instead of usingthe central path; she was practically arrived, when she noticed a group of thirdyears chatting loudly, seating in the middle of the path. She grimaced, but wasalready late and didn’t want to be seen changing route. So, she just raised herchin and hardened her expression, walking towards them as if they weren’tthere.
In the exact moment they saw her, they started howlingand whistling, calling her with some pet names, but she ignored it all and keptwalking, tensing up. However, while she was passing in front of them, onejumped up and blocked her way. Momoi froze abruptly, but remained calm.
“I have to go to practice.” She only stated quietly, theshadow of a smile on her lips. The guy stared at her from head to toe, like anhungry beast, while the other three stood up too and circled around her.
“Aren’t you the cute manager of the basketball’s team?Damn, you’re hot for a second year!” he mused, leaning towards her. “Play withus a bit, babe?” It took all of her self-control to not take a step back.
“I have to go to practice.” She repeated firmly andtried to go past him, but he grabbed her wrist; she winced, letting his bagfall, and glared at him.
“I asked you to play, bitchie. Don’t act all mighty andpure when you spend all your time with guys.” Smirked tightening the grip, “We allknow what the manager are for…”
Momoi widened her eyes, offended, and felt rageboiling inside her; she smirked in the same way she did before revealing how tocrush the opponents.
“Here the fox who can’t reach the grapes and so callsit unripe.” She chirped lifting her chin. Some of the guys howled and laughed, adding salt to the already humiliating reply.
The “boss” growled hurt and lost his smirk, suddenly shovingher against the wall. Momoi emitted a little cry in pain, feeling her shoulderthrobbing, and she gritted her teeth.
“You talk too much for a cornered bitch.” He hissedblocking both her wrist with a hand and moving the other on her tight. Momoiwidened her eyes in terror and tried to wiggle of his grasp.
“Let me go!” yelled beginning to panic, but he wasusing all of his weight to keep her down. All the other boys snickered, lustfully looking at the scene.
“Shut up!” he yelled raising his hand under the hem ofthe skirt, on her bare skin.
“Le-”
“Satsuki?” A cold, rasping voice interrupted the gangand her scared pray. Momoi turned and saw Aomine paralyzed, together with theGeneration of Miracles. They were all there, frozen with the uniforms on andtowels around the shoulders.
“Daiki!” she called, feeling small tears escaping downher cheeks. They were there!
Aomine and Kise bolted first, throwing their bag tothe ground, and the guys that were surrounding Momoi hadn’t time to react.Aomine grabbed the boss’ collar and roughly divided him from his best friend, before punching him right in the left cheek. Kise took the nearest one by theshoulder and hit him in the stomach with the knee, then pushed him on the groundand blocked him down, twisting his arm behind the back.
“What the fuck were you doing?” Aomine roared, pinninghim against the wall. The cheerful, basketball’s lover’s eyes had left space toa cold, feral glare filled with desire to kill.
The man gulped, but still tried to smirk arrogantly.
“Mind your bu-” spited, but Aomine interrupted him withanother punch in the face, making him cough blood.
“Don’t fuck with me!” Aomine barked furiously, stillseeing the man’s hand on Momoi,
“How did you even dare touch our Momocchi?” Kise askedtitling his head, a predatory smile on his perfect lips. His victim criedsomething unintelligible and Kise added more pressure, losing his fake cheerfulness.“Sick bastards. Attacking girls alone and then crying in pain, the lowest.”
The other two, scared to death, tried to escape invain.
One bumped again a gigantic body and, raising hiseyes, found a mad Murasakibara waiting for him. He squirmed stumbling backwardsbut the boy grabbed his head with a hand, lifting him from the ground.
“I really feel like crushing you right now.” Told him, tightening the grip while he kicked the air terrified.
The second thought he was going to be saved, that hecould escape, before an entire, full bag fell from the sky on his head and knockedhim down.
“Tsk.” Midorima clicked his tongue disgusted, still inhis shooting form. “Cowards.”
“Momoi-san, are you hurt?” Kuroko appeared beside thegirl, who, astonished, had slid seated on the ground.
She tried to force a smile, feeling his arms aroundher protectively, but was still too scared and amazed to think properly.
Kuroko didn’t show any emotions, he always wore thesame expression, and yet in that moment was looking at the guy who had put hishands on her like he was ready to beat him. His usually so calm eyes wereraging with anger.
“You’re safe now.” He reassured her again, but he wastrembling with desire to hit them too.
Akashi reached them walking slowly, his polite smilehad completely disappeared and his bloody red were shining dangerously. Hestopped in front the guy Aomine was holding, being sure to tighten to gripstrong enough to leave bruises, and nodded to his teammate.
Aomine narrowed his eyes and kicked the guy’s knees, making him fall down on his butt with a groan. Akashi didn’t bat an eyelash andgrabbed his hair, pulling rashly up to force him to meet his eyes.
“I don’t know why you thought you could touch ourmanager and go unscathed. Anyway, you were wrong.” Told him quietly like thesea before the storm, “If I ever found you doing something like this again, toher or some other girls, I’ll let you them beat you to a pulp.” Threatened witha smile, hinting at his team.
“You are crazy! I’ll denounce you!” he mutteredhorrified, blood streaming down his mouth.
Akashi narrowed his eyes and pulled him closer.
“And I’ll assure that nobody would care about youruseless barking, you don’t have any idea who I am.” Replied coldly, “I’m goingto have you expelled and beaten up in less than an hour, am I clear? You won’tleave the hospital for months, if we put our hands on you.” he was practically growlingon the last words and the guy nodded terrified. They were all crazy monster.
“Say it.” Akashi ordered tugging his hair.
“I won’t touch her or other girl ever again!” he desperatelyyelled and finally, satisfied Akashi let him go, straightening with a disgustedlook.
“Disappear.” Aomine roared, hitting him on theshoulder with his foot, and the boy scrambled up, running as if his lifedepended on it.
Kise twisted the wrist of his prey a little more andlet him go too, still smiling coldly. Murasakibara let the guy fall downwithout stopping making eye contact and that one took his friend, shot down byMidorima, and dragged him away wobbling in fear.
The guys glanced at each other and exhaled a sigh, before crowding around Momoi.
“Oi Satsuki, are you okay?” Aomine asked worriedly, while Kuroko helped her standing up.
“Y-yes you arrived in time…” she blurted relieved, finally calming down between them, and Aomine relaxed a bit, ruffling her hair.
“Momoicchi you should have yelled louder!” Kisescolded her, hugging her arm.
“Momoi-san, Kise is right. It has been pure luck thatwe found you.” Kuroko added, returning to his blank expression, but she knew hewas worried too.
“I’m sorry.” Apologized bashfully.
“If they ever molest you again, let us know.” Midorimatold her fixing his glass and analyzing her to see if she was hurt or not. “We’lltake care of it.”
”Yes Momo-chin, they’re just small flies.”Murasakibara cracked his knuckles as if he was still holding that guy’s head.
“However, from now on, I’ll make sure you don’t haveto walk around alone; I’ve underestimated your beauty. Please also avoid usingshortcut where people can’t see you.” Akashi finally informed her thoughtfully, making the girl blush.Meanwhile they had started exchanging comments about how filthy those guys wereand commenting about each other’s “performances”.
Momoi, looking around, blinked and finally, noticing theirstill worried and frustrated stare, burst into a fit of giggles.
“Yes, I’m sorry for making you worry guys. I’ll bemore careful from now on. Thank you for saving me.” She said smiling widely atthem who quieted for a second, “You were really cool though.” Added excited.
The boy blushed surprised, avoiding their gazed or belittlingthe fact waving their hand, but nobody managed to hide a small, proud grin.

Woman’sinstinct
In the Teikou’s first string’s locker room a tense silenceweighted on the air.
“I declare our Emergency Meeting open.” Akashideclared, meeting eyes one by one with all of his teammates, reunited in acircle with him.
“Shouldn’t we wait for Aominecchi?” Kise, thenewcomer, asked a bit nervous. Only few days had passed since he had beenpromoted to the first team, even if he knew already all of them already.
“Aomine-kun has supplementary lessons for the lastfailed test.” Kuroko explained blankly and Kise sighed.
“I’m already surprised that you’re here, Kise.”Midorima commented, fixing his glasses.
“Midorimacchi!” exclaimed Kise offended, “I can passtests too. I’m not stupid! ” Defended himself.
“That’s quite an exaggerated statement.”
“Kise-chin has copied.” Murasakibara ratted him out, munching his favorite packet of chips.
“That explains everything.”
“I’m surprised you managed to do it without beingnoticed, Kise-kun.” Kuroko commented.
“Well, with his perfect copy he should have been anidiot for not managing.” Midorima sighed, rolling his eyes.
“Kise-kun.” Akashi only pronounced, with adisapproving glance, and the blonde fidgeted uncomfortably.
“H-Haven’t we an emergency to deal with, instead oftalking about my grades?” tried to change the topic, before they could lectureand punish him.
Luckily, it worked and Akashi called the silenceagain.
“We’re here today to talk about Momoi.” Explainedquietly and Midorima nodded beside him, “Have you perhaps noticed somethingunusual about her lately?” asked mysteriously and immediately Kise lifted hishand.
“I have!” exclaimed hurriedly, “She’s creepier!”explained, a sort of fear in his golden eyes.
Everyone blinked at him.
“Creepier?”
“That’s not really a proper thing to say about agirl.”
“This is why his girlfriends always break up withKise-chin.”
“Wait, wait!” he stopped them raising his hands, “Letme explain.” Begged and Akashi nodded, calming the other with a hand.
“Go on, Kise-kun.”
“Lately,” he started to explain nervously, “She seemsto be a lot more…observant than usual. For example, two days ago I had a photoshootin the morning and in the afternoon I played with Aominecchi at the park. I hadstrained a bit myself, so yesterday at practice my left knee ached a bit. However I was playing fine as usual, I swear! I hadn’t noticed it; also, I’mvery good at acting and I was doing everything perfect to not raise anysuspects. But after ten minutes, Momoicchi called me and asked me how I hadhurt my knee; then she lectured me for ten minutes because I didn’t take careof myself properly. I swear I don’t know how she could have ever noticed.”Finished, shaking his head with disbelief.
Midorima and Akashi exchanged a knowing glance.
“Somerthing like that happened to me too.” Kuroko partecipated, brushing his chin.
“Kurokocchi! I knew I wasn’t crazy.”
“Shut up Kise.”
“Kuroko-kun, what are you referring to?” Akashiinquired, ignoring the whining Kise.
“Lately, I have difficulties at surprising her. And,what’s more, at the end of practice’s matches she always remember what I havedone and gives me a feedback. Usually she didn’t notice me too, unless I becamethe center of the action.” Explained, furrowing slightly his eyebrows.
“I always knew you tried to scare us on purpose.”Midorima hissed, glaring at him.
“I don’t.”
“You’ve just admitted!”
“I didn’t.” they started to argue, but Akashiinterrupted them.
“Please, let’s return to the main topic. That’s exactlywhat Midorima and I’ve noticed too.” Akashi commented thoughtfully, “Lately,Momoi-san seems to…predict us and others with a terrifying accuracy. She’s beengiving me suggestion about how to handle players of the other teams and abouthow they play even before seeing them play. Every comment is spot on. SometimesI can hear her muttering strange things under her breath or I see her studiesus as if we were guinea pig.”
Everyone silenced.
“Momoi-chin is creepy.” Murasakibara commented,shivering.
“When I asked about how she did it, she answered itwas “woman’s instinct”.” Midorima added, frowning. He still couldn’t understandwhat she meant by that.
“Is that a superpower?”
“Can she read mind too?!”
“Don’t be stupid, Kise.”
“Mean, Midorimacchi.”
The door opened suddenly and startled them; theyturned horrified, just to find a perplexed Aomine looking at them. He was justsearching Kise to play around a bit.
“Eh? What are you doing?” asked arching an eyebrow.
“Aomine!” they yelled in unison and he took a stepback, worried about their crazy stare.
“Please, Aomine-kun, you’ve known her for long.Highlight us about Momoi’ situation.” Akashi asked politely and everyone staredat him expectantly.
“Satsuki?” he repeated, confused, “What’s wrong withSatsuki?” She was fine and annoying as usual, wasn’t she?
Midorima briefly summed up the situation for him andAomine looked at him incredulous.
“Guys, she has always been like that.” Burst out, tilting his head, “Are you dumb?”
“I don’t want to be called “dumb” by you, Aomine-kun.”Kuroko observed deadpanned .
“I too find it insulting.”
“Only Kise-chin is dumb like you.”
“Murasakibaracchi!” Kise pouted offended.
“Oi, I’m not stupid!” Aomine yelled, a vein popping onhis forehead.
“Aomine-kun,” Akashi cold voice immediately establishedthe silence, “Could you please explain yourself better?” asked kindly andAomine shivered at his menacing aura. No, he didn’t like called dumb by Aominetoo.
“Ah yes,” he complied quickly, “Well, Satsuki hasalways been good at analyzing and seeing things since from when we werechildren. Playing hide and seek with her or just trying to prank her was verydifficult.” Admitted with a snort and Kise chuckled, winning a glare.
“However, she has never cultivated her ability.Lately, she said that, seeing us developing our techniques and playing styles, she has decided to improve too. She wants to use her capabilities for basketballto help and guide us. She has started to analyze and collect data abouteverything, calculating and learning to develop patterns and strategies for us.It seems that her efforts are finally showing.” Explained with a shrug.Honestly, he was so used to Momoi reading him like an open book that he hadn’teven noticed.
Everyone exchanged amazed glances, realizationskicking in, but before they could say anything, Momoi appeared on the door.
“Ah guys, you’re all here!” she exclaimed cheerfully,“That’s perfect! I’ve to talk about the…” started to talk, but they bursttalking all together.
“Momoi-san, I’m very honored to have such anhardworking, capable manager like you in my team.” Akashi said standing up and half-bowing.
“Ah, I have indeed to recognize your exceptionality.”Midorima agreed fixing his glasses and nodding full of respect.
“Momoicchi you’re so amazing! So incredible!” Kiseblurted looking at her full of amazement.
“Momoi-san, thank you for your efforts. We won’t letthem to go to waste.” Kuroko added with a quick smile.
“Momo-chin is the best manager.” Murasakibara told, offering her a packet of gummy bears.
Momoi, caught by surprise, blushed furiously andbecame red till the ears, without understanding at all what was happening.
“Aomine-kun, what are they saying?” whispered to hisbest friend, both giddy and worried about their mental state.
The boy shrugged.
“Don’t ask me and leave them alone, you know how theyare.” Aomine commented confused as she was, and Momoi burst into a fit ofgiggles while all the others continued to praise her and her abilities.
Hi!! I just read your Akamomo fanfic, and I absolutely love your writing! If it's not too much trouble, I was wondering if you could write a Momoi fic? Where Momoi has a high fever in Teiko and the GoM worry about her the whole day, but she brushes them off and goes to practice, but faints? Like worried!MiraGen about Momoi? It's alright if this isn't your thing, and once again, your writing is amazing!
Hi dear fangirl! Obviously, you can have it! There’snothing better than protective characters! Sorry if it took me a bit, I hopeyou enjoy it!
Precious Manager
Momoi didn’t get sick. Full stop.
Not because she was an idiot like Aomine, but becauseshe was always prepared; she was able to analyze everything and actconsequently. She always knew how her body was feeling and what to do to stayhealthy. She just didn’t get sick.
Therefore, the throbbing that tortured her head fromthe morning, the sleepiness that had sunk in her body and the weakness she werefeeling weren’t symptoms. They were…passing, faint discomforts. She was okay, she could endure it. And the boys had to stop nagging at her, she knew what shewas doing, alright?
“Momoi-san, please return home.” Akashi said, standingbeside her. She tapped the pencil against her notes and rolled her eyesannoyed.
“I’m perfectly fine, Akashi. And we should increase thenumber of laps for the first years.” Mumbled looking at their team running. Shehad to blink one or two times, her vision clouding a bit. But she was fine.
“I have to agree with Akashi, you don’t look well.”Midorima commented, reaching them. She barely registered that he was really worriedabout her. That damn throbbing…
“Guys, I’m fine!” tried to pout, but felt a wave of fatiguewashing over her, “Aomine-kun has been nagging from this morning but..” shetried to say before he felt her words vanishing in her heads, “…I feel…” theworld spun wildly and then, darkness engulfed her, “…fine.”
She just heard that idiot of his best friend callingher name before passing out.
“Satsuki!” Aomine rushed through the gym shoving awaysome scared first years and reaching the girl that Akashi has caughtimmediately before she could fall on the floor. He took her, helping thecaptain to lay her down.
“Oi Satsuki, open your eyes!” yelled worriedly andKuroko, appearing from nowhere hit him on the head.
“Don’t scream. She’s passed out.” Reprimanded him andcrouched beside her, putting a hand on her forehead.
“Tetsu!” he exclaimed hurt.
“Tetsuya, has she caught a fever?” Akashi asked.
Kuroko nodded, “She’s boiling, we have to bring herhome.”
“Fine. Everyone stop practicing and gather theirthings, we’re bringing Momoi home.” Akashi state, exchanging a glance withMidorima who hurried where the coach was to explain the situation.
“Momocchi!” Kise finally reached them, breathing heavilyfor the rush, “What’s wrong?” asked, resting with his hands on the knees.
“Ah, Momochin doesn’t feel well for real.”Murasakibara observed slowly walking by their side.
“Damn! I told to this stupid to stay home!” Aominecursed taking her in his arms and picking her up. Actually, he wasn’t used totake care of people and he didn’t know what to do, but letting her on the floordidn’t seem a good idea.
“So manly.” Kuroko joked deadpanned, before startingto walk away, “I’ll go collecting her things.”
“Can we leave practice like this?” Kise asked Akashi, who was ordering Murasakibara to go and take all their things too.
He nodded.
“Nobody of us would be able to focus and Momoi livesalone. We’re going to stay with her until she wakes up. It’s our duty as herteam.” He proudly explained and Kise beamed up.
“I’m good at taking care of others!” and he meant it.
“Stop being an idiot and move your ass!” Aominegrunted not taking him seriously and feeling impatient to bring her safely athome. Momoi shivered in his arms, panting, and grabbed his t-shirt, making hisheart stop for the worry. She had red cheeks but a pale complexion; she wassweating and had difficulties to breathe.
Kise stared at Aomine, surprised by theuneasiness in his harsh voice, and then looked at Momoi: realizing thatfor once his friend was panicking, he showed him a reassuring smile and tookof his uniform’s jacket. He reached him andwrapped it around Momoi with gentleness.
“To keep her warm.” Explained to Aomine, “She’s goingto be alright, it’s just a fever.” Calmly said to Aomine, who blushed lightlyrealizing how stupid he was being, and nodded as a thanks.
“Are we ready?” Akashi asked in the exact momentMidorima returned nodding and Kuroko followed. Murasakibara has already broughtthem all of their things.
Everybody agreed and he started walking, followed byhis team.
“Let’s go then!”
They were lucky that, first, Momoi lived near; second, they had long legs, except for Akashi and Kuroko who had to run to keep up, sothey arrived in few minutes. On the way, Murasakibara and Midorima stopped tobuy some medicines and adequate food for a sick person at a store.
Aomine found the keys in her bag and open the houseguiding them in. As Akashi said, nobody was home and they went direcrl.t to herbedroom, a little unease about stepping into the girl’s territory. It was asimple, cute room with pink and green furniture, books, a basketball and photosof her and Aomine, or her and the team. They stood fidgeting in the room, notknowing what to do.
“Put her on the bed, Aomine” Kuroko told him and hepromptly did it, kindly covering her with the blankets.
“Alright, guys from now on keep quiet since she’ssleeping. We need some wet towels and the thermometer.” Kise said clapping èhis hand to attract their attention, “Where can we find them, Aominecchi?”asked impatiently; they couldn’t lose time like that.
Aomine arched an eyebrow at him, but saw Akashinodding and decided to trust Kise.
“The bathroom is the room at the end of the corridor.”Answered uncomfortably seating near Momoi, the only thing he could do washolding her hand.
“Akashicchi, can I ask you to search for them? I’ll goin the kitchen and see what I can do.” Kise asked politely and the captainnodded.
“Thank you Ryouta.” He replied and the two left theroom.
“You can relax.” Kuroko said to Aomine, who was stillconfused about how easily Akashi had complied. The guy nearly jolted, havingalready forgotten his presence.
“Kise seems to know a lot of things. He really can doeverything uh?” Muttered a bit annoyed by himself, who had never had to takecare of anyone.
“He has two older sisters and seems to have learnt alot from them. Actually, he’s the perfect housewife.” Kuroko answered andAomine didn’t understand if he was serious or not, “While Akashi doesn’t know whatto do at all. He usually has butlers to take care of him.” Explained with asigh and that made Aomine crack a smile.
“Didn’t expect it. I’m kinda glad I have to you rightnow guys, especially you and Kise.” Said honestly with a huff, looking at thesleepy Momoi.
Akashi returned with a bucket full of water and twotowels; he put them on the floor near the bed and looked at them expectantly.
“Now?”
Aomine chuckled and Kuroko sighed again, taking thefirst towel and dampening it.
“We use it to lower her temperature.” Kise saidentering again in the room. He stared at Momoi and snorted, stopping Kurokofrom putting the towel on his forehead, “But we have to change her first.”
They all looked at him, horrified.
“Ryouta, I don’t think it appropriate.”
“What are you thinking, Kise?!”
“You’re a pervert, Kise-kun.”
He blushed heavily averting their gaze.
“It’s not like I want to do it! We don’t have otherchoices!” protested, “She has sweated a lot and can’t sleep comfortably in heruniform; we have to change her with the pajamas.” Explained fidgeting andscratching his nape.
“And who’s gonna do it?” Aomine asked wearily, whatKise said made sense but…
“I am.” Kise interrupted him, immediately explaininghimself before they could accuse him again, “I work with various models and I’mused seeing girls in their underwear. Moreover, I can swear I’m not interestedin Momoi in that way.” Reassured them. They exchanged doubtful looks, butdidn’t have a lot of alternatives. In the end, Akashi and Kuroko waited forAomine’s answer.
“Okay, okay. Don’t try anything funny alright?”threatened letting go of Momoi’s hand, but Kise rolled his eyes, shoving themaway.
“Not. Interested.” Repeated, before the doorbell rang,“Ah, Murasakibaracchi and Midorimacchi! Go open and help them with the bags!” hurriedand closed the door in their face. They unwillingly did as he said.
Five minutes after, Kise had done everything alreadyand Momoi was sleeping peacefully wearing her fluffy, pink pajamas. He calledthem back immediately, shushing them to not disturb her. He left Kuroko in theroom, in charge of changing the damp towels and managing a worried and scowlingAomine, a lost Akashi, a studying-in-the-corner Midorima and a poutingMurasakibara because the blonde’d prohibited him from giving Momoi sweets. Hethen went to the kitchen and began cooking.
When finally Momoi woke up, disturbed by a softwhispering, she mumbled something confused and, opening her eyes, she immediatelymet Aomine’s stare, who was bending over her.
“Satsuki! Are you alright?” asked in a little too loudand harsh tone.
“Stop screaming, Aomine-kun.” Kuroko scolded andMomoi, trying to sit up properly, saw him seated on her bed near his bestfriend.
“Momoi-san, how are you feeling?” Akashi asked gently, sitting at the end of the bed.
“We’ve tried to help you, Momochin.” Murasakibaraexplained to her, sprawled on the floor, and Midorima raised his eyes from thebook he was reading.
“Please, next time don’t push yourself.” Begged fixinghis glasses, a wave of relief hitting him.
“Guys, give her a break.” Kise bubbly reminded them, entering in the room with a tray of food, “Just in time, Momocchi.” Chirped toher in a softer than usual voice, reaching her and putting the tray on her lap.
“I’ve prepared a hot soup. Here, water to take the medicinesand an integrator. Hydrate yourself properly.” Suggested, seating in front ofAomine.
She looked at all of them speechless, until a bigsmile blossomed on her face.
“Thank you guys! You’ve been really kind. I’m sorryfor making you worry.” Apologized weakly but wholeheartedly, feeling all warminside for being surrounded by her caring friend.
Finally, Aomine relaxed beside her, emitting a lowgrowl.
“I told you to stay home, you stupid woman.”Commented, thankful that she seemed less pale now.
She chuckled, ruffling his hair.
“Sorry, sorry Dai-chan! Thank you!”
He shook his head.
“Thank Kuroko and mainly Kise, they have taken care ofeverything. We were useless.” Muttered slightly blushing and Kise literallybeamed at his comment.
She laughed seeing the blond being all giddy forhaving been helpful and patted his head to thank him some more.
“I knew it! Kise is the only one capable of this andKuroko is the man of my life! But still, I thank all of you, for staying by myside.” She repeated and all the team smiled sweetly at their precious manager.
