Just an Amabie for good blessings and protection.
I'm ok(?), kinda lazy-ish after several OT at work. Picked up a bad habit of taking work even after hours, oops! I gotta fix my time management.

Danny Phantom is a Lar
I consider Danny to be a lar. Specifically, a lar praestite. Lares praestites are "the spirits that protect the community." It is a specific type of Tutelary spirit from Greco-Roman myth considered household ‘gods,’ but I’ve also heard them called “hero ghosts.” I think I’ve read that they are often the spirits of dead heroes or something. Apparently, a place & people under the protection of a lar can potentially experience quite a bit of good fortune, in both large & small ways, provided the residents pay respects or gratitude to the lar in question.
Lares are associated with Penates & the goddess Vesta.
Their range of influence can range from a specific home or family (lares familiaris) to crossroads & neighboring district (lares compita) to entire cities & city-states (lare praestites).
Lare praestites were often depicted wearing chlamys or military cloaks, carrying lances, seated, with a dog (which is a symbol of watchfulness) at their feet.
The Fentons are as close to a military I've seen in Amity besides the GiW & I suspect that they might actually be privately owned & just using the government-funded bs to keep people from asking questions. So, they don't count. Danny wears a hazmat suit in ghost form & can be seen with Cujo at times, it being an hc that the pup bonded with him, possibly giving the pup new powers as a result. Cujo possibly being a Cú-síth (Pronounced: coo-she), which are thought to ferry dying souls to the afterlife. Thus, making him a type of Psychopomp.
I'm just saying, all he needs is a lance.
I also think his eyes & powers take on the color of Greek Fire because of this.
Similarly, I consider Spectra to be a wraith & Ember to be either a banshee, a siren, or a mix of the 2.
Like, within this fictional universe, the Earth is home to Earthbound spirits, which generally remain incorporeal yet can still manage to be pretty troublesome at times, & the Ghost Zone/Infinite Realms is home to Hereafter ghosts, which are generally corporeal by nature, but able to become incorporeal at will. Both have classifications that are determined by a range of things from cause of death, obsession, nationality while alive, & so on.
Like, sometimes banshees (specifically the Caoineag, a type of Highland banshee) are known to protect certain families of Scottish or Irish descent, warning them when death approaches. Other times, they are known to bring about death themselves. Either way, it’s said that a banshee is the spirit of a young girl who experienced a brutal death. My thoughts are Ember McClain was of Celtic lineage down the line somewhere. It certainly doesn’t explain or negate everything, but it puts an interesting twist on her character.
Depending on the type of ghost you are, you can have access to certain powers or magics. The ghosts of dead vampires tend to be able to use hemomancy, banshees & the ghosts of dead faefolk can use fae magic, the ghosts of dragons have access to dracomancy & crystomancy (gem infusion & foci magic), while specific yūrei (Japanese spirits) that also happen to be classified as yōkai have access to yōki.
Danny & Vlad, however, are also both a class of ghost called Gatekeepers. Gatekeeper Ghosts are what happens when someone dies in the making of a permanent portal or doorways from one world or universe or plane of existence & another. These spirits become bound to said portal & are tasked with guarding it.
Most portals don't actively require sacrifices, but the GZ is different as it's the afterlife & therefore always needs one to fuel the actual opening & then protect that opening.
Gatekeeper Ghosts generally take on the power common in the 2 worlds in order to better protect the gate. So, if a ghost were created in the making of a permanent portal to the Fae Wild, the ghost would have access to fae magic.
Most Gatekeepers are simple Earthbound spirits, however, because of the aforementioned phenomena, Gatekeepers of the GZ become Hereafterers instead. Likewise, because these specific Gatekeepers guard the doorways to the afterlife, they are part of a subclass called Psychopomp. In addition to guarding the gate, they are also expected to ferry spirits into the GZ so they can begin their Journey of the Soul(TM).
Danny has proven that he does this very well, while Vlad... not so much...

Damn I want to meditate for a long time again but it's gonna take a while to get used to my new daily schedule now thar I live with my bf (loving it so far).
But when I get to it it's gonna be amazing heee, Em's been visiting me regularly and she's actually the very first spirit that I'm not intimidated by at all. We've forged a beautiful bond together and help each other in different ways... I love her so much ;v;
I drew Em as a thank you to her for keeping me and my cool witchy friend company in the town today. Her energy followed us on the streets and I could feel that she was happy that I went outside.
Lady Liandrin MacBeth
Name: Lady Liandrin MacBeth Nickname: The Bloody Bride, Lia, Drina Love Interest: Juliet MacIntosh Appearance: Pale skin, brown hair, blue eyes. Liandrin is a ghost woman now, her green dress still stained with the blood of the man she killed to protect herself. Height: 5'6 History: Liandrin's homelife was never fair or gentle. She was married off to a Lord, expected at the age of only 18 to settle into being a wife and a bride. She had no interest in men and of course, as was legal back when she was born, she was expected to do her duty... The night her husband tried his luck was the night he died, sending his now 28 year old wife into a spiral of madness. She died by her own hand, choosing to leap from her castle battlements to her death... Now, as she watches over Juliet, she knows she must protect the sweet innocent within her castle walls.
Recently I've had some great moments with Em. She's my spirit companion who is also willing to work as my support during anxiety attacks (for those who don't know or remember). She's been by my side more often and I feel like I'm learning to kinda "read the room" in case of spirit presences with her. She's amazing<3
I love my emotional support spirit so much<3
