I’ve received some pretty amazing messages and you guys have just been all around super supportive of me & my post. Thank you so much to everyone for all the good vibes being sent my way and for everyone who has messaged me both privately & publicly. You guys are honestly super swell & I don’t think (under different settings) I would be feeling this positive after doing something like that. So thank you. Thank you for being respectful, and thank you for not sending me any crude messages.

ON THIS NOTE!!!! I would like to let you guys know that I’m ready to keep moving forward, taking baby steps as I go. Baby steps. 

BABY STEP NUMBER TWO: I want to be called Ashton. I have actually wanted to be called this for a VERY long time (years if we’re being honest here). I have just refrained from pursuing the name (even though it is quite commonly unisex) because I wanted to hold onto something that still kept me tied to my family - because I thought I should do that. But I am my own person. I do not need their acceptance & lingering negativity. Please call me Ashton. I know this is not something that can happen over night, and I’ll reblog this post for a while to remind my followers & friends & girlfriends. You guys have just made me so comfortable, and I want to follow my instinct & comfortability while it is present. 

So yes, please call me Ashton.
