I love when authors get all hyped about their own fics and the plot twists they just dropped. Like, I’ll scroll down to the author’s note and it’ll be something like, “omg you guys I can't believe that just happened!!!” — as if they weren’t the ones who literally wrote it 😭😭 It’s so cute. It makes me ten times more excited to read because if the author’s losing their mind, I know I’m about to lose mine too.

"I should mention, I already have a boyfriend and it's pretty serious."

TK clocked his ass so hard and he had only known him a couple days.

Now I want Carlos to message Buck on ig when they get back and be like,

Carlos: Heard you were flirting with my boyfriend.

and Buck gets the message and is freaking out because shit, TK's boyfriend is a police officer, and huge, and looks kinda scary and also hot as fuck.

Buck: I wasn't flirting!

And Eddie walks by and sees the look on Buck's face and asks what's wrong.

"Who you messaging?"

"Carlos..."

"Who's Carlos?" Eddie asks, raising a brow.

"Uhm, TK's boyfriend."

"TK has a boyfriend? Why's he messaging you?" Eddie asks, sitting down beside him, raising a brow. He already doesn't like this Carlos.

"He thinks I was flirting with TK."

"Were you?"

"What? No!"

Another message comes through.

Carlos: Don't you hit on my boyfriend again or else...

"And now he's threatening me..." Buck whispers. "And he's a cop."

"Threatening you?" Eddie asks.

Buck nods, showing Eddie the message.

"Yeah, well, tell him your boyfriend can fight," he says leaning back against the couch.

Buck's eyes go wide. "What?!" He squeaks.

Eddie smirks. "He doesn't need to know I'm not actually your boyfriend."

"Right, okay..."

Buck: Yeah, well, my boyfriend can fight. I don't need to be flirting with yours. Mine takes care of me plenty.

Carlos: Does he now? 😏 This boyfriend got a name? Or a face?

Buck: Eddie.

Buck: *Image attached*

Carlos: Eddie Diaz is your boyfriend?!

Buck's brows furrow.

Buck: You know Eddie?

Carlos: Our parents are friends.

"Eddie, he says he knows you."

"From where?" Eddie asks.

"Carlos Reyes. Your parents are friends apparently."

"Reyes? No way!" He grabs Buck's phone from him and looks at Carlos' picture. "Shit, it is him."

He calls Carlos through insta.

"Reyes."

"Diaz."

"Holy hell, man, it's been years!"

Buck just pouts as he listens to them talking. Great.
