On a cold foggy morning in @yellowstonenps I woke up at 4:30am with the hopes of maybe seeing a bison, I wound up seeing hundreds. I saw this male and a female with him a good bit away in a field. I turned the engine off and just sat quietly and observed them. Eventually they wandered within about thirty feet of my car and decided to rest and graze there for about an hour. I stayed in my car, and despite proximity this is still shot with a telephoto lens. I got the privilege of watching them and photographing them due to respecting that I was in their territory and did all I could to not disturb them. #protectyourpark #findyourdistance #goparks (at Yellowstone National Park)
