Has anyone tried eating to their metabolic type?
So we had a workshop through the Wellness Center at work that helped you discover your metabolic type. Either a protein type, carbo type, or mixed type. These different types means your body is better at digesting certain types of food and thus you should be eating smarter and fueling your body more sufficiently. I just took the test and I am a protein type. I basically have been eating as a carbo type though, so I'm curious to see if I make changes in my diet (eating more red meat, whole fat milk, butter, and eggs) if I will notice a difference in my energy and weight loss. Anyway, I was curious if any of you out there have done this, believe that it works, or have any general opinions on it.
