As a Georgian I'm legally required to take an interest in watching how the Methodist Church is schisming. First we had a big split to accommodate the allowance of LGBT people. And then some continental European sects broke off on their own to not have to accept this. Now the UMC announces preachers can be gay and not a week later the group is basically announcing a structural collapse as individual churches react.
