Real Pleasure presents: Soma
Italo pop disco ! Great tune and new EP for Kevin Claxton.
About the song:
Channeling 80s dance mixes, italo disco, new wave, and synth pop, Soma (Edit), and the Real Pleasure's new EP Zones, filter nostalgic influences through the cathartic release of LA’s humming warehouse parties. Expect maximalist indie dance and proto house replete with vintage hardware sounds and undeniable synth hooks.
Real Pleasure is the artist project of writer / producer Kevin Claxton (formerly Vaya, Chicago Singles Club).
Real Pleasure’s sound bears a sunny LA influence, marrying the the grooves of classic 80’s and 90s pop and dance and embracing the left field writing and production of Claxton's indie art-pop roots.
The forthcoming indie dance EP Zones (OUT NOW) was released in October 2024, channeling 80's synth pop, italo disco, and new wave into a thumping indie hardware house package ready for the dance floor. The first two singles, Neo (Edit) and Layer 5, are out now.
