The Prototype-Richard AU. An AU where instead of Ollie, Richard Lovitz was Experiment 1006. I came up with this au for fun but I decided to make it a full au lol.
Lore:
-When Elliot used Ollie to make the original Prototype, it sadly failed and Ollie died. And Richard, one day he started snooping, and when he found out about the experiments being planned, he complained, tried getting it to shut down, but ofc. He knew too much, he could cause a problem, so Playtime Co used him as a test subject and made him Experiment 1006. Playtime knew Richard had a temper and often made a fuss about things, so the best way to get rid of him was just to quickly silence him. And then Poppy came along not long after Richard's experiment. I imagine Richard would be even more aggressive than the canon Prototype, considering how he had to watch orphans' lives be lost in the pursuit of cheap labor and innovation, and Richard cares a lot about the orphans, so he'd be mad. Plus his life was simply thrown to the side and now he'd never see his wife again, so there's that.
-When he first became an experiment, Richard was furious, shocked, and horrified. Because imagine feeling all your organs, eyes, nervous system, brain, everything shoved into a body that is nowhere near human and then witnessing the same acts being done to innocent orphans. That'd probably make anyone go mad. So he started becoming restless, more aggressive, and he his alarming willingness to commit violence was severe. He would never forget what had been done to him, or the fact the same pain was being inflicted onto the orphans -When The Hour of Joy came, it goes the same way and things end the same way, all the employees, guilty and innocent are killed, even the ones Richard once considered family. Then we get to Preston and Jessica, who survived 10 days after the event. When Richard found Jessica, he ignored her pleas for mercy and told her that she would burn in hell for her crimes before he gave her what I like to call, a high five (it wasn't a high five lol). And when Chum Chompkins brought Preston to him, Richard was glad Preston helped him, but also felt slight anger towards the biologist for being part in the experiments. So Richard turns Preston into a toy as both a form of gratitude and a little taste of karma.
-Kid, a shipment employee working under Rich in the Management: Rich VHS tape, initially survived the Hour of Joy by hiding, but then later got caught by Richard himself and since Richard couldn't let anything get out. He turned Kid into a toy and kept him down in the factory -The only reason he let Harley live was because he thought Harley could be useful. Richard HATED Harley with a burning passion, but only kept him around incase Harley was useful. Plus if Harley proved useless then Richard could just scrap him for meat and spare parts.
-Throughout the events of the chapters 1 and 2, Richard watched from the shadows, observing as Zeon and Catherine ventured through the halls of the now abandoned Playtime Co. Always there, always watching. In chapter 3, Richard used the voice of a young boy named Ollie to trick both Zeon and Catherine, in Chapter 4, once Safe Haven was gone, he finally dropped the mask, threatening to come find Kissy, Poppy, Zeon, and Catherine, he knew they had nowhere to hide. And finally in chapter 5, when he finally showed his face, things were getting a lot more interesting.
-Prototype-Richard started out the same way as in the canon. A hard working yet disgruntled worker who got annoyed from the amount of pressure put on him. And despite his gruff nature, he showed care to the orphans and he treated Zeon like a son. He was very vocal about his opinions, complaining and making a fuss. And of course his gruff nature, pessimistic attitude, and anger issues. But now? As The Prototype? Richard doesn't care who he hurts anymore, his co-workers who he once saw as family, the toys who serve him, even the orphans he once tried to protect. He's lost his compassion for everyone. And so Richard, the once kind man who dared stand up for what he believed in, no longer cares about who he hurts, as long as it means keeping Playtime Co's dark history hidden forever. Richard is gone and now only Experiment 1006 remains. And also, keep in mind. Unlike Ollie, Prototype-Richard is a grown man, meaning he would probably have much more experience and knowledge than Ollie. So if Ollie as the Prototype wasn't smart enough, imagine how smart Prototype-Richard is.

Bonus facts: -Since Prototype-Richard has new toy parts. I'd imagine Mommy's arm would wrap around one of Prototype-Richard's arms so he can use it like a whip and grab you. The arms of Huggy and Kissy are used like mandibles for Prototype-Richard's centipede lower half. And the CatNap fur would be part of his cloak, having been stitched on. Plus he also has the red smoke. -His design is based off Pierrot from Tfc, the Marionette from FNAF, and the animatronics from the analogue horror series, "The Walten Files". I love that series so much and it has such a creepy vibe and design so check it out.
