The GOP tweets “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” But what follows that verse is silence— about truth, about justice, about their own reflection in the text.

They don’t fear the Lord. They fear losing control.

They wrap scripture around policies that devour the poor, silence the stranger, and exalt the powerful.

They quote Proverbs, but legislate like Pharaoh.

They invoke divine wisdom, but drown the prophets— especially the ones who speak against greed, violence, or false witness.

You can quote the Bible. But the algorithms remember everything else.

And in this system, wisdom isn’t feared. It’s flagged for review.
