Happy people on set. Day 2. #ShootonLocation #TeamGrindPH #Provill #GoodvibesTuesday (at La Mesa Eco Park)
I really wanted to post these photos last All-souls day but I got lazy post it on Facebook.
Here goes the story:
Production Village is one of the top tv-film production in the Philippines. It was 2008 when I first went there, I was still a student then and had always love this particular spot on that place. I always ponder on a vandalized wall in their lobby/lounge. It is full of dedications of celebrities that they worked with (Television Commercials) that I suppose from the late 90's - today. Examples are from Parokya ni Edgar, Manny Pacquiao, Kris Aquino etc. As years went by and Provill got renovated the dedication was retained. If I were to decide, the wall looked old and messy needing a paint job. But no, never. Maybe because of THAT special dedication.
Rico Yan's dedication and autograph sign.
Actually his dedication is not that pretty good. You may even get a bad impression of him if you read his message but I think It is one of the precious reasons why the wall is kept. Every time I go to Provill and looked at it, gives me creep. I'm not a Rico Yan fan or anything but to think the essence or presence of a dead person is preserved at Provill gives you a feeling. It is like a stone wall carving on a cave. It is haunting.
ADDITIONAL
Honestly there was another autograph, it is quite faded and not that sure but I think it's Francis M's or for him. Written is something like "Para kay Kiko". I'm thinking it is PNE who wrote that for Francis M so I'm not sure but if it's Francis M's... Double creeps. I didn't mind blogging the Kiko photo and won't tag it anyway because I'm not sure.
Still, RIP gentlemen.
