Approximately 15-20 percent of the calls into Proxibid Support are because of a login issue – typically the buyer cannot remember their username or password.
Did you know, if you have forgotten your username, you can enter the email address used at account creation to log in? Simply visit www.proxibid.com and click the blue “LOG IN” button within the blue banner. This will take you to the Buyer Login screen.
- Enter your email address into the top field
- Put your password in the secondary field
We recently updated the password recovery process to make it easier for buyers to retrieve forgotten passwords. If you have forgotten your password:
- Click on the “Forgot your Password?” link underneath the login fields
- You will be prompted to enter your username or email address. It is recommended that you use your email address as this is more specific to an individual account.
- If the username or email address is not registered in our system, an error message will appear in a light blue banner at the top of your screen. Once you have successfully entered in a username or email address, you will be prompted to enter the answer to your Security Question. If you cannot remember your registered email address, contact Proxibid customer support at 877.505.7770, daily from 7 am – 10 pm Central.
- Once you have successfully answered your security question, a temporary password will be emailed to you.
- Log into your account using the temporary password. Upon login you will be prompted to create a new password. Please follow the guidelines below to create a new password:
- Your new password may not be similar to any of your last three passwords
- Your new password cannot match your username
- Your new password must be between 5 and 12 characters long
- Your new password must contain at least one number and one letter
What is password strength?
- We want it to be difficult for an unauthorized user to guess your password. The stronger the password the more secure your account.
- Adding a combination of lowercase letters, uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters (! @ # $ % ^ * ( ) _ -) strengthens your password, making it more difficult for an unauthorized user (and sometimes yourself!) to use your account.
- We recommend not using the same password that you may use for other sites
