Best of luck with your operation! What're you getting the tube for? I had tubes I'm both my ears THREE times as a kid for ear infections.

I’ve had chronic ear infections since I was an infant. I’ve had at least 15 surgeries to correct the problem, but nothing has worked so far. I can’t fly on a plane without a tube in my right ear otherwise my eardrum will rupture. I’ve already had a tympanoplasty done because of that happening. My ENT doctor did a CT scan of my head and found that I have a deviated septum blocking air going to my right ear, which highly increases my chances of an infection. Every time I get a cold, I get an infection. I can’t swim because of this either. I wear ear plugs in the shower as well. I’m really really REALLY hoping this surgery is going to correct my problem. I’m tired of having surgeries every year only to have the infections return once the tube comes out.
