Prrince the Swan, Kwami of Loyalty

Prrince is a proud and pretentious kwami, always carrying himself with an air of importance. He is very picky when it comes to holders (or anything, really), feeling only the best are worthy of his powers. Once Prrince trusts someone, however, he will be steadfastly by their side to the bitter end.

Prrince's Miraculous is a silver winged circlet, and his tool is a silver scepter. His favorite food is peanut butter, but has a hard time admitting this and usually requests fancy food instead. His transformation phrase is “Prrince, wings flare!”.

Prrince is currently part of the Season Box, though his Miraculous is separated from it. He can be found in the United States with his current holder.

It was 19 years ago yesterday, that we lost George Harrison.After George passed, his family released their official statement which read, in part:"He left this world as he lived in it, conscious of God, fearless of death, and at peace, surrounded by family and friends. He often said, 'Everything else can wait but the search for God cannot wait, and love one another.'"

George was only 58 when he passed. Today, guitars are still gently weeping…. only now with Tom Petty and Prince there with George. What a trio there in heaven. This is the tribute version with George's son playing in the band, One of the very BEST I've heard ..... next to the original that is!

R.I.P. to ALL three!

Have any world leaders ever held a Miraculous?

Plagg: In modern times? No. But if you go back there have been royalty and such that have held Miraculouses.

Prrince: Queen Elizabeth the First was a holder of mine!

what kwami was fun to write? what kwami do you think is the most interesting? also what miraculous would be recommended to beginner miraculous users?

I love writing Prrince, my Swam of Loyalty. I haven’t drawn him out yet, but I’ve been working on a fic with him and his holder and I love writing their dynamics.

I think Graay and Yuume I find the most interesting. They’re some of my oldest kwamis who have gone through the most development and had their stories fleshed out the most.

Of canon probably the Bee, its very straight forward and very effective. Of mine probably the Crab, as it grants you powers related directly to the situation at hand so you'll always have what you need.

So how did you choose the concepts for each animal/miraculous? Like I get uunice because unicorns symbolize magic and are mythical creatures, emburr symbolizes Phoenix's rising from the ashes, etc. But what is the link between others like jaguar and imagination?

It really just depended. Usually it was either I’d think of the concept first then pick an animal that would be fitting with it (such as Loyalty = Swan) or vice versa where it would be an animal I came up with first then I would decide on a concept that matched (Sloth = Patience), and that’s how I decided on most of them.

Other times I’d want to avoid the cliche, such as with the Barn Owl I felt “Wisdom” would be too obvious, so I decided on Secrets, something not as expected but still fitting.

Then sometimes I just played favorites. Jaguars are one of my favorite animals, and I thought a Miraculous of Imagination would be awesome... so Jaguar of Imagination. xD
