since you mentioned prussia x cuba (which lowkey sounds amazing. im like lukewarm on prucan i jsut do not like canada all that much...i dont hate him hes just like Worlds Most Okayest Character to me tho i do kind of like the slightly snarkier/more dry version of him in fandom esp when it comes to being in a duo with al....and i *do* like cucan BUT i have specific beef w prucan which is i didnt actually like it that much during my first stint in the fandom 10+ years ago but felt kind of peer pressured to write it / ship it so now i look at it and go i shouldnt have been such a pussy. i shouldve been a lietpru warrior back then.

BUT TO PONDER PRUCUCAN JUST FOR YOU ANON...i think ideally cucan should have A Thing (undefined. vaguely romantic) in the lead up to the missile crisis until canada pisses cuba off over lack of political support & he bitches abt him over drinks and gil (thinks hes hot (remembering He Likes When The Director Shows His Stomach comment = gil likes big guys)) proposes smth because he is drunk and horny. i think carlos rejects him initially because man ive got all this shit going on right now i dont need another white boy here fucking everything up for me i cant trust anybody...but he Remembers This.

fast forward several decades, cucan have patched things up, gil sees them and makes a comment abt it (lightly ribbing carlos, u know last time i heard u talking abt this guy u were calling him the same as his stupid son of a bitch brother lol). carlos remembers his proposal and gil is Kind Of also his type (lanky bitch) and makes a joke abt that but then it ends with all them fucking for real. matthew just goes along with it because it Sounds Interesting + he heard a lot abt gil (and the others) from carlos so hes like yhea this seems like an alright idea. the end
