April 6, 2026 - Robin Accentor (Prunella rubeculoides) Found in parts of Bhutan, China, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Tibet, and probably Afghanistan, these accentors live in rocky habitats, wetlands, and shrublands. They eat small seeds and invertebrates, foraging on the ground, frequently in small flocks during the winter. Breeding from May to August, they build bulky cup-shaped nests on or near the ground in vegetation from grass and moss, lining them with fur, hair, or feathers. Females lay clutches of three to five eggs. Both parents feed the chicks.
