“Oh! And you have a better idea, do you?”
Yaku spoke his words harshly but softly, crouched down as he poured the salt along the line of the door way. He had read this in a book that his father owned, that blocking off the entrance of the room could keep spirits or other bad forces from entering the room. Whatever was banging around below them was certainly no kind of good force.
“It should prevent it from entering, you know, if it isn’t a load of crap. We need to think fast. Who know how long it will stick around, it can probably outlast us. Look around for some kind of weapon..”
They had ducked into someone’s home to avoid the creature that was terrorizing them after catching them walking through a park near by. They had only been lucky that no one seemed to be there, and that they made it into the bedroom before the vile thing could make it through the front door. It was looking for them now.
He moved to start pulling open drawers, eyebrows furrows from fear.
“We aren’t even sure just what it is, but what we do know is that salt keeps it out...? If it turns out to be a load of crap, well... it was good to have know you, Yaku-san.” He commented, peering around.
“...dirty laundry. Is it disgusting enough to keep it away?” No, really, it was the best he could find over here.
For some odd reason, Tsukishima did not look the slightest bit alarmed, even when the other stated it could probably outlast them.
“Say, Yaku-san... If such spirits exist, don’t you think that what was previously thought to be only myths also does...?” His tone seems to be as if making simple conversation despite their alarming situation.
