Some ps tools and what they do

I'll tell you the tools used to do psds, edits, actions...

Brightness/Contrast: the name say everything, It's a cool tool to use when you want a simple effect to... I don't know, make your picture a little bit lighten, or something like this, but, sometimes it's not the best choose you do, because the effect isn't so natural.

Levels: it's cool to make your pic with opaque less.

Curves: a good way to make your pic more lightness/darkness, and also in a natural way, haha. How can we use? Well, you just have to put the line up or down, down = darkness / up = lightness but, you got to take care when you're using it, because sometimes the effect isn't good, so, you move it a little to the right or to the left, and, yup! Well, we can use it also to put some color that you want on the picture, just, adjusting the colors we want to use. (clicking on RGB)

Exposure: with exposure tool we can have the sam task levels have, because it can make your pic opaque less too when using the Gamma Correction, and we can do it better than with levels, also we can make the picture opaque with offset, and it's beautiful! But I really don't like using the exposure because is totally not natural.

Brightness/Contrast, Level, Curves and Exposure have almost the same task, as we can see.

Vibrance: into vibrance we got vibrance + saturation it will make your picture with more life but you have to take care, a lot of people don't like your pictures with too much vibrance in colors. But a cool effect you should use is: less vibrance and more saturation, will make your pic beautiful.

Hue/Saturation: I don't use hue when I'm doing a psd because it totally changes your picture, like, oh my god, but's really perfect to use when you want to do a radical effect changing all your colors levels or idk. Inside hue/saturation we got the hue, the saturation and lightness, I don't indicate you to use the lightness because makes your picture opaque, but if you want make it opaque you should use, it's a cute effect. The saturation is amazing, at least I like.

Color Balance: its cool because change all your color picture but not so radical but its really good and I love this effect because make really difference to your picture and makes the psd doesn't look like the same ever.

Black and White: it makes the picture in the black white way but you could also change the darkness level of colors and this is pretty good.

Photo Filter: I don't use too much because the effect isn't natural, like, you have really to find the really good right color to put, because, pufff, if you put anyone, will be totally ugly.

Channel Mixer: you can use it with care just to put off some not good colors in the pic.

Vibrance, Hue/Saturation, Color Balance, Black and White, Photo Filter and Channel Mixer are used to change some colors, or to contrast some colors... And, others that we mess with colors are:

Gradient Map: you can use with or without changing the layer option, but you could use changing layer option and you should do because will change the tones and will make it more beautiful, and the black white in the Gradient Map is more pretty too.

Selective Color: good tool because you can put just that color in that way and will not change all the picture.

Sharpen >> Smart Sharpen: you can search in tumblr for some configurations, the smart sharpen values the details of your picture but you have to take care because mostly time when we use in not so good quality images it removes all the quality.

Blur >> Surface Blur: it removes some noise depending the image.
