I got Half-Life loaded on my PS2 HDD
Turns out the DVD drive is dying so good timing to have FreeHDBoot set up!

PS2 softmodding has like no documentation when it's done through linux... I don't have a windows computer and need to write a program onto the SSD I'm plugging into the PS2, alongside reformatting beyond basic fat32. Blegh I hate diving down forums for info.
Sorry for the troubleshooting rant, it's a habit.

I did something similar to this with my PSP many years ago. I'd be interested in trying this sometime, but I don't know how much enhancements it gives over just using emulators on PC. PCSX2 already plays all my favorites really well with upscaling, higher framerates, and all that good jazz.
