hello! i love your psds, thank you for making rp resources! do any of your psds do color correction for pictures that are too yellow-y?
hi there love! thank you so much! Im so happy you’re enjoying my work! And as for your question about color correcting yellow tones, you should be able to do that with the adjustments folder thats in most of my psds.
I have an adjustments folder in nearly all of my psds, with four different correction layers: a darken layer, a lighten layer, something to fix very blue (cold) scenes, and something to fix very red (warm) scenes. If you want to fix something really yellow - try using the ‘fix red’ adjustment layer. It could also be called something like ‘add blue’.
If your layer looks green at that point, add a ‘color balance’ adjustment layer, and try adding a pink sort of hue. That should color correct your yellow out. It’s all really just a tedious process to get something perfectly lit/colored. Usually its easier if you have a really heavy PSD; if it’s a light filter, then the original coloring is more easily visible, so i can understand that fixing yellow tones may be hard. Just try out my tips, and hit me up on IM if you can’t get things right! I’d be happy to help you out there!
