Okay, I admit. Autumn is my favorite time of year. Other people can worship the summer or even spring. But I love the autumn when the leaves are orange and yellow and red, when the pumpkins on porches are peaceful people, when you can go apple harvest and when the air has a cold wave so that reminds us that winter is coming in a few months. But do not worry about next winter just for now. Now is the time to enjoy the autumn. There are some things you can do to enjoy autumn with your family and friends. Here are some ideas to get started. If you live in the northeast, you are sure to find many of these available in your community. Idea # 1 Oktoberfest / Fall Festival Many communities have celebrations in the autumn. Some call this Oktoberfest, others call it a Fall Festival. Usually this is an open-air market with merchants who sell products outside suppliers and offering food for purchase outside. Food is usually a fall theme to it - apple cider, hot chocolate are popular items to find. Sometimes you can find things like chili or soup hot. A fall festival is fun to participate with your family and friends and a great way to enjoy your community.
