it’s WAY past dinner time, for most people anyways, but minsoo has never been one to follow the usual, generally accepted timetable. which is why he finds himself in the middle of the grocery store at such hour, with a hood over his head and in a pair of old jeans, currently in the middle of a crisis. he ended up here after coming to a decision that he can no longer tolerate eating the plain, wheat and mostly, TASTELESS excuse of cereal he has in his kitchen cupboard, because life is way too short to eat bad cereal, and he concludes that he does deserve some good ones. that’s where the idea for this trip began. soon ( not so soon — after considering all the factors, all the pros and cons of EACH one ) he has three boxes stashed under his arm and an expression that is closer to satisfaction. there is just one step that separates him from fulfilling his tonight’s quest, and that’s milk. he heads down the aisle with confidence, in his mind already reaching for the precious substance to go with his cereal — only to be stopped abruptly by a tall figure making appearance. maybe he could squeeze past if he REALLY wanted to, the aisles are not that small, after all. he did not want to though, because it meant unnecessary effort. he is not very good at kindly asking people to do things, either, certainly not in his current state of wanting to just return to his couch with his treasured goods. and maybe, if minsoo wasn’t so keen on getting his desired late night snack, he would have noticed who it is that is now preventing him from getting to the refrigerator. because in that case, he certainly wouldn’t say the following words, addressing the supposed stranger’s back, definitely not in such a casual tone. it would be in no tone at all, probably, because he would be backing away to escape the scene immediately. that does not happen, though, and the disaster seems inevitable. ‘ HEY, you’re in my way. ’ | | @hwcngs ! !
