Imagine a meet cute with Psimon. A calm, quiet day at one of the Light's bases. No fieldwork. Just a lazy sunrise filling the windows of Luthor's building with brilliant color as you, a new recruit, sit basking in the Light.
The whole morning this far had been quiet, only interrupted by measured, even footsteps. Barely a moment passed before the person rounded a corner. Now, facing you, was senior Light member Psimon. He held a cup in each hand, and only a few moments later, was crouching barely in front of you. The clear dome over his brain seemed to warp the colors of the sunlight, refracting into a beautiful rainbow on the far wall.
"I saw you alone up here.. two hours ago."
He handed you one of the cups, which warmed your hands as you accepted it.
"What have you been doing here, all this time?"
"Watching the sunrise." You scooted back slightly, offering space in the warmth of the sunlight falling through the window. "Care to join me?"
May I let my cringe flag fly and request headcanons of Psimon x smol protective fire bender reader? Also would you be ok with doing one shots of this same reader later? If not totally ok I thought I would try to shoot my shot 😁

It registers later that he should have known how powerful you were; not just ANYONE is picked by Queen Bee

He watches the way your body moves, shifting to control your flames
And during missions, you make it your duty to run (or burn) circles around your team, sanding aerial attacks up in smoke
When he finally approaches you?
WHOOH
A power couple in the most literal sense
He scouts out enemies
You burn them down
When you two have free time, it's typically spent doing a whole lot of nothing
He asks you to show of for him sometimes
Loves being in your head when you're using your power
He can feel every mental shift, and watches as your flame responds
Come winter, if he ever gets cold, he'll (begrudgingly) ask to cuddle
You're a human space heater
Curl up with him under some blankets,
You're both insulated asf, ready to hibernate
The rest of Onslaught seems to think that y'all are pretty cute together
Especially when you tag-team an enemy twice your size
Queen Bee.. doesn't care. As long as you both do what she tells you to, you can date whoever tf you want

Not really in a cutesy way, but if one of yours sent on a mission and the other isn't,
She's holding doors, railings, whatever to make sure y'all can say goodbye
NAH CAUSE THAT IDEA OF A PUNISHMENT IS SO FUNNY TO ME—like the others just got sent away to do missions but Queen Bee was just like “y’know what, y’all have to watch over Cam on your date night”
Like instead of execution or getting fired, no, you have to take this mans with you to Chillis—
Not just Chilli's babe! This is the Light! They're not skimping out. There's a whole room, if not restaurant, reserved for their date nights. Full wine menu, desserts, whatever.
Queen Bee knows these are her best workers. Replacing them would be more trouble than anything, so they just need some motivation to do better next time, right?
Even if it doesn't work, they're still cool working w/ her and don't want to try staging a coup. It works out for the Light in the end (even if Devastation and Cameron complain about the third-wheeling dates for a week after.)
Also, this isn’t a request, but imagine Team Onsalught having a sleep over—like imagine the fights and cuddle piles they all have—

But yeah. Onslaught sleepovers..
Ik that realistically they all probably share a living space, but imagine what happens when everyone's home together after a while-
Shimmer gets turned into a human popcorn machine temporarily (Iirc she has a heat-based power) If anything happens to catch on fire, Cameron's got it
They all watch movies while sitting like villains (or queer people); draped over random pieces of furniture and each other
Pillow fighting! Typically ends with pillows just being thrown at each other, and someone starting an impromptu wrestling match (usually Tuppence)
Y'know those serious chats that happen sometimes? Vent sessions with friends, whatever. Imagine that, but EVERYONE'S parentals are shitty and the friends have already killed people and would do it again for you. They've had to talk down Mammoth from actually trying to go out and kill Cameron's dad.. more than once
Pretty much everyone ends up falling asleep on top of Devastation, Tommy, and Mammoth. They're Big.
If anyone ends up having a nightmare, Psimon doesn't even wake them up, just attacks the problem at the source. Typically ends up with him and the other person leaning against each other on top of whichever Big Person has been chosen
