Colony tried to stay calm and collected through this, carefully going through his pack, making sure he had enough things for the mission to be successful, the would all get assignments soon and split off but until then it felt like the whole camp buzzing with nerves. He tried to stay calm for his insects. They would pick up if he was too out of sorts, so he leveled his breathing, making sure he wasn't too jittery.

"Hey do you need a flashlight? I have an extra just in case but I don't think I will end up needing it. Ah- and some extra rope. It's para chord actually."

LEVEL 04 MEDICAL BAY

Hell hath no fury… At least, not the brand of fury that was coursing through his mind and veins while being confined to the medical bay for the next twenty-four hours. Those blasted mechanical monstrosities. David’s jaw clenched at the mere memory of the fight – at how his powers were so ineffective against something that was not even alive. And then the pain. The blade pierced his thigh, again and again as he screamed in both anger and agony. It took a great deal of energy and focus to stop his own bleeding – but he wouldn’t be where he was if not for Achilles dragging him and Volt to safety. How he hated to feel powerless. Weak. Confined to a bed for the time being.

He loved the medical bay. When not training or fucking – that’s where he would be. Using his powers to help others, to make himself useful. But now, he was on the receiving end of the treatments, both of his legs still wrapped in bandages as he was reminded time and time again not to move from the fucking bed. People often said that there was no worse patient than a doctor and David could now see how right that was. He didn’t want to be there. He wanted to go train, to turn every android he saw on Atlantis to nothing more than a smoking pile of dust. But his own whims and desires would have to wait as he seemed to have a visitor. Adjusting the pillow behind his back, David did his best ( and failed miserably ) to try to look at the very least normal and not borderline homicidal. “Psynaut.” To what did he owe the pleasure? Was the rumor mill that quick that everyone was already aware of him being there? “Don’t tell me you were worried. I had it handled… kind of.”

psivn a hang out between besties

perry knew where to go if he ever needed to find huber, busy at work in the lab on level 03. he was familiar enough with it, often going there just to hang out with huber. having brought snacks, his nintendo switch, and drinks for them both, he was ready to spend an afternoon with huber. as expected goblin was hard at work, toiling away at an invention or repairing something. "hey!" he would have waved at huber if his hands weren't already full. perry carefully puts everything down, careful not to accidentally drop anything, or tip something over. "what're you working on?" he asks, relieved to finally spend time with his closest friend in the compound. since returning from the forest he was eager to return to normalcy. or as normal as things could be when he was a trained killer for a secret organization.

his agent had advised against showing face at a time like this. she'd been working overtime to mitigate the damage from his failure to show up for his team. the wallet of wolfe productions was heavy, but it was not all-encompassing. one of the faces of young heroism missing from a crucial assignment wasn't an easy spin, but he'd managed to make it out with only a minor dip in his approval rating.

still, he couldn't just sit around with his own thoughts, and the bottom of a bottle could only reflect his image back at him. so, donning a black hoodie and a cap, he sneaks his way into the care unit currently looking after dakota. security was tight, but it was of little issue for someone who could bend time around him.

standing in the doorway, he feels a bit too unsure to step forward.

"heya, it's me, tex." he announces, back pressed against the door. "i, uh, i came as soon as i could."

ㅤㅤㅤfuck! fuck! fuck! granny destruction was gonna kill him. she had left him in charge of her plants while she went out of state for an arts and crafts convention. perry had made sure to water every single one of them, but had overwatered a pot of begonias. they had been vibrant when granny left and were now wilting, drowning in overwatered soil. thankfully perry knew a hero that lived and breathed plants. would eden possibly hang him upside down and give him a lashing for being so careless? yes. but would he rather face a disappointed eden than breaking his nana's heart? absolutely. gossamer had visited eden several times since the temptress had converted an old train station into their lair. with the potted plant of begonias against his side, perry made his way inside. " eden! I'm here. " he had let the other know that he would be popping in for a visit an hour ago, giving eden time to make themselves presentable. with the plotted plant in his hands he waits in the middle of what used to be an old terminal. now it was filled with exotic plants, and flush with color. " --now don't be mad at me. but I overwatered one of my nana's plants, and I need help. your help specifically. "

"After being here for years, I think I finally found the best coffee in town." Nero began to say, patting the Sannaran on the shoulder as he accompanied him for a walk across the Fortitude Hall campus. Winter had finally arrived at Elysium City, and with it the feeling of Jack Frost nipping at noses and the gentle flurry of snow blanketing city goers' paths. More importantly, it provided a day for Nero to show off his favorite spots to get a warm cup of coffee with his chums. He wasn't sure if Zhartan had consumed anything with caffeine before, much less something that looked like it could dissolve a tooth by sight alone like the caramel blue winter cappuccino Nero managed to order for them.

Sitting himself at a booth, Nero watched in anticipation as he placed the drink in front of the Sannaran, the smell of mint and coffee beans rising to meet the white steam dancing over their cups.

atlantis was in shambles. droids and medical personnel rushed all over the compound, tending to the injured or making repairs. gossamer swung above the chaos, eyes peeled for any sight of goblin. he didn't stop searching until he spotted that head of curly hair hunched over something. leave it to goblin to jump right back into work. swooping down, gossamer pulls goblin into a hug that picks him right up and off of the ground. "gob! you're alive!" he takes a step back, cupping his best friend's face with a smile of relief on his face. he had been worried sick ever since tearing out dragunov's throat that goblin might have been hurt. gossamer should have remained on the frontlines, where he could have been of use. but he had made a promise to himself that he would be the one to kill dragunov. the slices in his suit, and the red cuts that peaked through torn fabric were proof of his accomplishment. the blood that caked his scruffy chin, and the front of his suit were a trophy more than anything. "are you okay? do I need to take you to the med-bay?"
