She sat at the computer, her mouse hovering over the 'Text' button. One click would allow her to open a new post, type up a short story, then blog it for the world to see. She knew she wanted to write something, she just didn't know what. There were a million things running through her head, some of them important, some of them not, and yet she couldn't pick out just one to write about.
Deciding to try anyway, she clicked the mouse button, opening a new text post page.
Then she sat and waited. And waited. And waited.
Nothing but thoughts and feelings and emotion coursing threw her, begging to be released in some way, a catharsis of sorts. All the words were racing through her mind, some louder than others, some a soft whisper. It was all jumbled and mashed together, she couldn't pick a single word out to save her life. Writing was her passion, but it seemed like she couldn't do it any more. She felt like screaming.
Instead, she just stared at the blinking cursor, the page blank.
A testament to her writer's block.
