               HEADCANON : AMARELLE PARATHIS. amarelle harbors strong disdain towards cowardice, bigotry and general dim-wittedness. before her retirement, she also dislikes those who lock themselves in a boring, mundane existence because they will not dare reach for something more. her own forced change of lifestyle has eased up this last trait a little, since she experimented it herself, though it remains at the core of her. 

                another thing that shows in a year and a day is how little respect she has for authority figures who lord a moral high ground over her ( like placing thieving abuse of power in the context of a government about the heists she pulls ), or disregard others’ lives as they dabble with the powers they’re granted. generally, obedience and authority don’t fare very well with her. she will mock pompousness, play-pretend, those who wish to please so badly they twist their personality around. amarelle herself only makes herself palatable out of absolute necessity, which is all well and good most of the time — except when that lack of a filter ( especially when she’s had a few glasses ) drops her into a world of trouble, like it did with ivovandas.
