this is casey robinson and her gf bee halloway. casey is the daughter of shawn spencer and becky robinson, who he had a brief relationship with after leaving santa barbara pre-pilot (im gonna sayyyy santa rosa?). he didn’t know becky got pregnant tho, cos they broke up and he left town, and so she raised casey on her own

bee has known casey for many years, since they were both kids (bee was adopted as a toddler and she and casey became neighbors) (also gus is basically convinced that bee is his daughter he didn’t know about because i think that’d be funny as hell)

casey knew about shawn basically the entire time, because becky couldn’t bear to lie to her child about something like that. she wanted to meet him, but becky didn’t want her to. she was mostly just not ready to face him after all this time and drop a bomb like this

then becky gets murdered, and all of casey’s psychic powers tell her that she needs shawn. oh yeah did i mention that casey is an actual proper psychic. she can read people’s emotions, see auras, and can use crystals and tarot to gain insight from the universe

Characters I Made Up: Charlotte “Charlie” Kennedy -- Psych

Charlie grew up next door to the Spencer's, and became best friend with their son Shawn. When she was 10, her and her mom were in a very bad car accident that Charlie only got scratches while her mom was killed. Her father, a detective with the SBPD working with Shawn’s dad Henry, was never the same after that, blaming Charlie for the death of his wife. As she grew up, the mental abuse from her father lead to her rather rebellious teen years. After Shawn stole a car and was put in holding, Henry was coming back from the station when he heard a commotion from the Kennedy’s house. That’s when he stumbled upon Charlie’s dad hitting her, and took action and arrested his fellow brother in blue. 

After that, Charlie stayed with Henry for a few days before she went to live with her grandparents in New York, never getting to tell Shawn goodbye. Once she moved, Charlie left her goth/rebel persona to a better version of herself; graduating high school and getting into MIT with a full ride. Its only until after she receives her masters in Business Administration that she returns to Santa Barbara, accepting a job as a tech analyst for the SBPD. And thats where she runs into her old friend Shawn Spencer, now a Psychic Detective.

It had been a slow day at the Psych office. No one was in there but her. She had been playing Sleepy Hollow on her laptop while eating some candy. It wasn’t like they had been getting a whole lot of calls lately. It actually had been pretty boring the past few days. Which meant a big case was bound to come their way. She propped her converse on the desk and leaned back just relaxing as the movie played.  It wasn’t like they were paying her to be here. If they were she might have a little better work ethic. 

She was so focused on the movie she barely heard the person come in. She just threw another piece of candy into her mouth.

Hysterically Sane

I made a new fic called Hysterically Sane! It is the origin of how Psych came to work for the Minister and how and why she bothers Smug everyday~! :D 

Under the rule and eyes of the Minister, everything is happy. Everywhere you go there are smiles and euphoric banter like a chain of positivity...no crime, no violence; a utopia at it’s finest. A utopia that is still prone to accidents…  

After a simple slip on the cement, normal Smile Citizen and psychologist, Sero Z. Apine, has begun feeling unlike herself as the effects of occipital and frontal lobe damage have slowly taken effect, allowing trauma and symptoms of unheard of disorders to seep into her mind, taking her through a sinking emotional toll. She feels all hope disintegrating, however, in this city there is a cure. A doctor with that cure.

Was curing Sero with such a dose the right thing to do..? Her level of logic exceeds her insanity, mixing a dangerous state of mind and molding the mind to fit a rare psychological stage: hysterical sanity.
