there   should   be   absolutely   nothing   out   of   the   ordinary   happening   when   she   was   out   depositing   money   in   the   bank.   it’s   a   simple   act   done   by   everyone,   &   yet   she   somehow   found   herself   in   the   middle   of   a   robbery,   only   to   have   the   criminals   flee   once   they   recognized   her   face.   hope   is   small   &   unthreatening.   not   even   a   rat   would   feel   terrified   of   her   presence.   but   after   that   incident,   hope   has   been   hearing   rumors   surrounding   her   ex,   someone   she   loved   in   the   past   &   never   saw   again   .   .   .   until   now,   where   she’s   standing   in   front   of   his   door,   waiting   for   an   answer.

a moment, caught between lowering the pitcher of water and staring right at astrid as she points towards the plant he was trying to water. he squints through the hazy sunlight pouring through open windows, shoulders hunched and uncomfortable as he tries to think. think, think, think. was this some form of plant-talk that he didn’t study just yet? he glances down at the water swirling slightly in the pitcher (he shakes from the weight, downward pressure), his hands burning from stain. eventually he straightens out and chucks a bright laugh at astrid, amusement cooling in the pit of his stomach.

“aha -- what was that? is this the next lesson in ‘sunny doesn’t know shit about plants’?” he pretends he’s thinking, eyes rolling towards the ceiling as he taps his chin -- once, twice, three times. “I woulda thought it was more of a scoop doop woop blah blah shh yah yah.” sunny eyes the plant (newly bought) he was attempting to water with brimming curiosity, crooked smile in place.

     it had almost become a weekly thing now, the two of them heading out to get some coffee with a dessert on the side, talking about everything and nothing; yongguk not being the biggest talker but, he simply enjoyed the other’s company and the endless stories they seemed to have to tell. today wasn’t any different — except his companion had ended up with a bit of chocolate from their cake at the side of their lip, without seemingly noticing, they continued talking and it caused a smile to break out on yongguk’s features, staring at them in adoration as he couldn’t get himself to tell; something too pure about them not having noticed yet.

                 after a rather lengthy discussion with his sister about ‘spreading his wings and expanding his contact list’ or something, yohan had finally agreed to working with another artist. he wasn’t too sure about it because he enjoyed working with monday the most but he figured he’d have to learn how to work with others, too. besides, collaborating with someone new meant more opportunities for both him and monday. he just asked that they meet at his studio, needing to be in the comfort of his own turf.

when he hears the door open and a few loud voices, yohan looks up from his laptop briefly before returning to his work. “you must be nari,” he says, not even bothering with a simple greeting, far too engrossed in his work.

                 lips skirt over his skin, almost toying with him as she barely touches him. she’s a natural tease, and she isn’t sure how he’s taking it but she likes that he sounds like he’s enjoying himself. chanmi smiles as she intertwines their hands, eyes practically sparkling as she looks at him. “well, i can do a lot more if you want me to.” and she means it. “just say the word.”

                  pinky furrows her brows in confusion, not entirely sure what to make of that comment. “is it because you’re scared of me or… ?” she wouldn’t be surprised if he was. after all, she’d beaten the living daylights out of those guys at the bar that one time. it would only make sense to be afraid of her. “or is it something else?” she hadn’t even meant much with the gesture, simply putting her arm around his shoulder for no reason whatsoever.

     Her  delicate  figure  trembled  from  the  quakes  of  her  loud  cackles,  chest  heaving  as  the  singer  failed  in  suffocating  the  laughter  that  echoed  in  the  confines  of  her  throat.  Collapsing  as  she  clutched  herself,  the  remnants  of  the  laugh  dispelling  from  between  rosy  lips  as  she  regained  her  breath.   “  All  of  the  above,  dove.  ”   Was  the  audacious  answer.   “  Your  reaction  killed  me.  Your  glare  is  so  funny.  You  look  like  a  rabbit. ”
